Guy I knew pulled out of the test centre straight into a bus full of school kids. This was one of his 8 attempts to pass having taken 18 tries to pass the 1998 era multiple guess theory test.

First question of the interview "perform deep research on the current flaws in elliptical curve cryptography and write me 10000 word thesis".

Break/fix is industry term that's been around for forever

The heat doesn't really matter, it's the retention of heat energy that's fucking us right now, without the GHGs the planet would still be able to normalise energy as it used to.

I was absolutely going to come straight ti the comments and kick offf about the shite music but then it timed perfectly with that ending and gave me a chuckle so decided to give it a pass.

Used to work there, hated that 5-7 early bird rush!

it runs off of a folder full of markdown files, your agent should just be able to consume/modify those without OP having to fuck about with AI integrated in the front end?

The real beauty of Banks writing for me is the quality of his prose, Ive not really found anyone that meets that same quality

You should try Such Brave Girls

I'm struggling with the idea that 20 minutes will get a whole bird/joint warm enough again, guess I'll have to give it a go

MrPatch

There was a thread on it yesterday that has explains how to do it

MrPatch

Get a digital meat thermometer with a flying lead so you can have it on the meat as it cooks, pull the meat out while it's 8-9 degrees before it's ready and rest it, it'll bring itself up to temp and be juicier when you're ready to serve.

Big lumps of meat will stay hot enough for longer than you think after you pull it out.

Warm the plates either by pouring hot water you've cooked with over them or cycle plates in place of the saucepan lids or stick em in the oven for 10 minutes before you serve.

When you do a practice run keep the bird carcass (if that's what your doing) and boil it for a few hours to make extra stock to freeze then use for extra  gravy on the big day.

Learn how to make a roux to thicken gravy.

MrPatch

I've seen a bunch of people say do the best a day ahead, are you re heating it before you serve?

I have had a beard since the age of 22 in 2002.

I didn’t grow it because it was trendy. I grew it because I was lazy.

I kept it because an attractive woman said 'oh I like a man in a beard'

I haven't seen my chin since.

Several sadly, most recent was foot prints on the seat. Not too bad and as I work with lots of offshore contractors to be expected.

Not too long ago I opened to stall door to a bloody explosion, looked like someone had decapitated a weasel, blood covered the bowl, splashed up the cistern. Foul.

'Best' one was one of the women pulled a paper towel from the dispenser and got a bonus turd with it. Someone must have had a shit, caught it, placed it into the towel dispenser and left it there to be found by poor Roxy weeks or maybe months later. This happened another two or three times. We have suspicions who it was but turn over was quite high so it wasn't completely clear.
