Yup, I've come across Coyote's peculiar brand of masochism, cool dude. Not only does it sound horrific but being stung/pinched/menaced by such a scary looking creature must add to the suffering. I live in the UK where we also have the same crawling in your ear folklore. But British centipedes, like pretty much all of our wildlife, are largely harmless thank goodness. Yes they pack a pinch and they're creepy as fuck but unlike their Sonoran cousins that's as far as it goes. Come to think of it I don't think I've come across them more than two or three times as an adult but now I know they are useful Bois I will respectfully thank them as I flip them outta the window on the end of a dustpan. Prejudiced I will admit but as houseguests go gimme spiderbros any day!
