Yes, they make that point clear with other character statements about both the Vipers and Taro. Taro wins people over by saving lives.

Same. But mainly because kitten death.

Christine killed her own kitten. My sympathy for her died with him.

Yes, it was part of the In the Line of Duty series of TV movies based on actual cases. Bruce Campbell was in one, too.

Check out Dourif in an old action comedy, Fatal Beauty. If you took his role in that and gave him green hair and clown makeup, he’d be pretty close to Ledger’s Joker.
MulberryField30
If he had been Joker ‘89, like Burton wanted, he would have gotten those Oscar roles.

[distant scream as the tough Saint twin can no longer hold the APERS mine]”Noooooo!!!!”]

I like to think this character is the identical twin of his police armorer character in Night of the Creeps.

Honestly, I had almost forgotten that Ugetsu has a similar character in one of the game’s biggest inspirations, Lady Snowblood. A novelist and tabloid publisher who helps the titular character.
If this game were set post Meiji or in modern Japan, they would totally get together at the end, and he would write his stories with Atsu illustrating them with her paintings.
MulberryField30
I remembered correctly.

It was the second episode of the series. It’s from ‘92, so it’s a bit dated, but it’s a starting point.

It’s like he was doing an impression of Townsend Coleman and Patrick Warburton at the same time.
