There are people here on Reddit who think anyone who makes $1 more than them are Billionaire parasites.
Seriously, a person making $37k a year will call someone making $84k a year an ‘out of touch elitist’.

I love wrestling and I hate how I had to see that fucking asshole’s face. I’ve moved on to AEW.
I used to live in Japan and was around when that awful stunt with the corpse was pulled. It was a national scandal. I can not emphasize enough how bad and wide-spread the reaction was. They’re fucking sociopaths.
I’m so saddened young people are lured into defending them or sanewashing them. They’re vile humans.

You’re assuming all other agents are as good as you. I’ve met some awful, awful people in customer-facing roles.
Muscled_Daddy
Maybe in the past? I’ve worked customer service jobs so I am as polite as any reasonable human.
But I absolutely do not tolerate being lazy or disrespectful to a customer.
And holy cow has it gotten bad. I always try to defuse a situation.
But I’m not afraid to match energy.
Muscled_Daddy
No? She clearly called security because she didn’t want to deal with it and is abusing her position.
I’ve flown Iberia… once. ONCE.
Muscled_Daddy
Mmm… things I can’t say that’ll get me banned for $1000, Alex.

DoFo is just a fucking loser. My husband and I moved to Toronto hoping we could settle down in a safe, progressive (compared to where we came from) city.
But holy moly. DoFo just can’t let go of the idea of being Mayor of Toronto. He is just a sad, pathetic creature.
And naturally he doesn’t respect the word ‘no’ when torontonians tell him to stop meddling in the city. So he just uses his powers to force his wishes onto the city.
Muscled_Daddy
You mean like with that god-awful Billy Bishop survey where they didn’t mention runway extensions, but went ‘hey bestie, do you think we should improve the facility?!’
Muscled_Daddy
Me, to the average 42 year old: “hey you dropped something.”
42 year old: “ok thanks” bends down “snap. Crackle. Pop.

Having lived on the Keio line, I knew it was a fake instantly. But it’s a damn good fake.
Muscled_Daddy
How dare you disrespect the Keio line like this!!
The 7000 series were the workhorse of that line. (Lived on the Keio line for over 10 years lol).
Muscled_Daddy
It’s been over 40 years since I’ve been in high school… But I think I only had about four minutes between classes.
I checked in with my nieces and nephews… They get three minutes. Which feels extreme.
Muscled_Daddy
Oh God you watch Hassan.

But not voting for Kamala lead to genocide. Hundreds of thousands of died because it cuts to USAID.
By the end of Trump’s term, millions will be needlessly dead.
That’s on people who decided to stay home and not vote for Kamala. That blood is on their hands.
That genocide is on your hands… and you have to accept consequences for that.
Muscled_Daddy
You’ll still find holdouts who refuse to accept the consequences of their actions.

It makes me wonder what the 2026 October surprise will be this year. Getting the Democrats to buy into P&I certainly was effective in 2024.
I still can’t believe how many progressives fell for it.
Muscled_Daddy
I am still pretty high on the testosterone charts despite my age because of TRT.
But I am 100% a crier at movies. I went to go see Wicked For Good and was blubbering like mad the last half. My poor husband hates it lol.
But I’ve also noticed him turning into a softy as he gets older too.
Part of me does wonder if you just naturally become a bit of a cry as you get older… I mean, I’ve already lost so many friends and family.
And I now probably only have 15 to 20 years left.
And when I see that in movies… You know, you get overwhelmed.
Muscled_Daddy
Yeah I’m reading this as a massive cry for (…I didn’t mean to…) a massive cry for help.
Muscled_Daddy
I… uh… I mean this genuinely and sincerely: Are you okay? I don’t know what a ‘normal’ level of crying is. But this does seem like a lot of crying.
Is there something deeper that we’re not seeing? Like a recent deceased loved one, a beloved pet, cancellation of the Buffy revival?
I just… really hope you’re okay. :/
Muscled_Daddy
It could also be a time constraint. In the US some schools have very short transition periods between class. Some schools that’s as short as 3 to 4 minutes between classes. The gym teacher won’t care. That’s a ‘you’ problem.
And you have no excuses for being late. You’ll be written up.
Muscled_Daddy
We did… and our gym teacher watched. You know, to make sure we actually showered.
Muscled_Daddy
Because those people wanted moral superiority without experiencing consequences.
To this day on Reddit… there are people who refuse to admit they made the wrong choice. They’ll fold their arms and say ‘I didn’t vote for Kamala because i don’t support genocide.’
And when you try to explain that they still made a conscious choice. Not voting is a choice. And by not voting, they allowed a much worse outcome to occur… They cannot accept that.
I don’t know what the psychological term is. But I understand that they have built a narrative in their mind that they are morally superior.
And so they’ll defend it since their ego depends on ‘I am morally superior’ being correct.
Muscled_Daddy
Yup… I’m an old man. And I see the progressive left cannibalize itself to the point it’s become a joke.
Moral victories mean nothing if you leave ashes in your wake.
There’s an ever growing chorus on the left that does not want to take accountability for their actions or inaction.
They want the moral victory without any consequences, which isn’t how life works. It’s not how politics work.
I could point to any number of issues in the past where many liberals and progressive hold their nose/refuse to vote for a corporate Democrat*… Only to allow unspeakable horror to unfold by the next Republican administration.
And that’s not okay. Not voting is a choice. And refusing to accept consequences of said choice is no-no territory for me. That’s Trump-supporter level of delusion and it should be contested by those of us on the left who want effective change. Not moral grandstanding.
*and yes, they suck and they need to go.
Muscled_Daddy
I agree. I think instead of ‘displacement’, there should be a focus on betterment. If we ARE proceeding with this, what as a city are we doing to ensure any unhoused populations that may be impacted are treated with respect. Are we offering them opportunity, secure housing, etc.
