They heard kids were using grass recreationally.

Homebrew abilities come with nasty surprises. Don't give them out until you know enough about the game to know how they'll break it.

They're attracted to warmth, so with healing going on, your operated leg may simply be the warmest part of you right now.
There are even stories about a nursing home cat that supposedly "predicted" when people were going to die. A much less mystical explanation is that cats are drawn to people who have fevers or are warmer than everyone else.
On that note, if you were prescribed antibiotics, be sure to finish the entire course!

I used to think beating a dead horse was enough.

Love the people, hate the ignorance. Except sometimes for the entertainment value.

San Francisco verified as the birthplace as the dashcam. This is how they became silicon valley.

That's why they're the worst brothels.

Neither does the Texas legislature, but there are videos of Republicans doing it anyway.

You can do anything in D&D, but you may need to do it OUTSIDE, where the people are. You can kill a dragon, but not in a china shop, because that's not where they live. You can find a vorpal sword, but not by looting it off a rat. You can battle with a god. Today, if the DM gets frustrated enough.

Before deciding to leave, what happened when you talked to the DM and the group? From your post, it sounds like you skipped that step.

When I was in Dresden, every bus stop had a penthouse ad with bareboobs. One right outside a preschool really made me giggle. Those ads are going to make the little ones hungry.

We've really enjoyed the time we've spent with you guys, but we have a dream of opening our own inn. You can come visit any time!
Neebat
We just really want to settle down and open an inn. Please come visit any time!

There's something you should try sometime, when you've just shot as a hog and missed. As you're fleeing up an observation tower, reload. You know you want to.
Then tell me how to do that with one hand on the ladder.

"Lifting the whole mine is crazy. There could be an anti-person [sic] mine hidden below to make it harder to clear." [Also sick]

When I think too hard about this, I just get depressed and lose the will to go on.
Then I remind myself there is an actual place named "Crimea River."
It doesn't make anything better, but it distracts me for a moment.

Anthropic has reported that Claude Code has massively increased the number of lines a developer can write in a given period of time.

Characters don't have to die to be punished. "In last week's session, you'll remember your characters were rotting away in a prison cell. You managed to pick the lock once, but then the guards shoved you back in and welded the door closed. Picking up from there, the piss bucket is now emitting a toxic cloud."

For a 1, they get a bag of caking. Whatever you put in, when you take it out, it LOOKS exactly the same, but is made of cake. Good quality cake, non-magical.
At 10, it's a regular bag of holding, but the item you need is only accessible when everything else has been removed.
If they get a 15, the bag is a portal to a minor deity who accepts items put in as tribute and returns items based on how respected it feels by your offerings.

I'm thinking once you're on the ground with a damaged tail bone, your responsibility to retreat is gone. Fire away.

I predict next session starts with, "You all wake up from the nightmare."

They certainly know something about cummingtonite.

If this is what they do when the body cameras are on, imagine what they do off camera.
Yes. By almost everyone. Not me.
I work in software though. Probably different. Quality Engineers are a dying breed for us. Everyone assumes automation can do the job.
I personally know of 3 times I would have been fired with cause if a quality engineer hadn't blocked my crap from doing damage. I make it clear that I need them, respect them, ask questions, and they love me.
My favorite director used to invite everyone in the cubicles to lunch with him every day. I need to be clear, this guy was fucking awesome. Charismatic and skilled at developing people and leadership.
Every day he'd lead 4 or 5 developers and rarely a QE. He asked. He reached out, but they didn't come. One day, I was getting up to follow him out when I got annoyed that QE was left out. I turned and asked if they would come with us and the area emptied out. They all came to lunch. They saw me as the one colleague across the aisle.
I had a junior QE come to me and ask how to test the feature I'd designed. I understand sometimes it's not obvious, but asking me that is a disaster. I mean, I'd obviously give you a complete and perfect answer (of course!) but that other guy over there would tell you his work doesn't need testing. Instead ask me how I tested it, because I probably did half the tests I think it needs. But don't ask me how you should test it. I go into a bar and order -1 beers, but I never order a llama.
I did that job back in the 90's. Paranoia is a specialization that most of us don't have. If you need a lesson, let me know. My next project will feature a penguin, but only if you really test it.
