As a former dishwasher who now works front of house, I can confirm, that's exactly how it happened.

It seems like at least having a toilet should be a bare minimum requirement.

I mean, an argument can be made that if their actions are illegal and are hurting someone, the ethical thing to do is to report them. Protecting the innocent and all that. You're right that ruining someone's life just for the sake of vengeance would be a messed up thing to do, though.

The princess from Princess and the Frog. In the earlier versions (or at least the ones I've read) she doesn't even have to actually kiss the frog. She just chucks him at a wall and the impact breaks the curse. She's so spoiled that the worst things she's ever experienced seem to be losing a toy and existing in the same general area as an amphibian.

I think this may be the weirdest one on this thread.

Think I'll stick with the life I have now, thanks.

What are the odds of that? Actually, seriously, the odds are quite low. Is this thing rigged?

Yikes. I'm sorry your family is going through that. I hope your son recovers.

Are you, by any chance, a writer?

Not the toppings I would've chosen, but I'd never turn down free food!
Rolled: Your toppins...: Tandoori chicken, red onion.

I mean, I can see how there are some situations that might be different. If you're going to a funeral for someone the kid never even met, they might not want to take time out to do that. I think it makes the most sense to just ask the foster kid what they'd prefer. If they want to come, though, then I see no reason not to bring them.

Sure. I'm not sure why it would want to, as I have very different dietary habits than a tiger, but I'm very willing to trade my lunch for 1000 dollars.

This could've been written by my mom! I'm eldest of six, and the one who's closest to my age is the one I get along with the best. She's 1.5 years younger than me and she's my best friend. I love the other ones too, don't get me wrong, but the bond between siblings who were little together once just hits different.

I'm pretty sure it's hummingbirds.

Same for my family. There are six of us, and I don't think my parents have ever shown favoritism towards any. They make each of us feel important and special. I mean, the third oldest is contractually the favorite ever since the syrup incident, but that's more a joke than anything else.

Math is blue and I will die on this hill.
As for the other subjects, Science is green, English (or generally literature) is yellow, History is red, Art is purple, and Spanish is orange.

My mom actually didn't believe in narwhals for a while. She thought me and my siblings were making things up (which, to be fair to her, is absolutely something we'd do.) We had to find real footage of a narwhal in the wild for her to believe it.

I'm not a parent (no, I do not know why I'm on this sub) so I don't plan on trick or treating. All the people I know who are parents do plan on it, though. And I'll keep candy on hand in case kids come by (I live on a college campus, so I sort of doubt kids will trick or treat here, but I'm not passing up an excuse to buy candy.)

As a fellow Utahn, I concur. If I saw someone eating pie with pickles on it, I'd probably ask if they're pregnant.

Hi! I'm not a parent, but I'm somewhat young (20) so I was a teenager a pretty short time ago.
I think my best advice is to stay up with them at night. Teenagers are basically nocturnal. After sundown is when they're at their most active, and usually most willing to talk with you or spend time together. When I was a teenager my Mom was really great about staying up with us, usually either watching movies or playing card games or just talking. Most of our most meaningful conversations happened after dark. I don't think we'd be nearly as close as we are today without those moments.
Also, remember, even though these years are hard, they can also be a lot of fun! Teenagers are clever, passionate, adventurous, and they can be hilarious at times. Their capacities are far greater than before, and still growing every day. Conversations get deeper, games get more complex, and they're generally able to pick up on a lot more than they used to. My Mom said teenagers are actually her favorite age group to parent for a lot of these reasons. These coming years will probably be chaotic, but they might also be awesome.

I'm more concerned about the latter of these two pieces of information.
Rolled: They reveal...: They stomp their poop down the shower drain | But the upside is...: They immune to any laws
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed! No one else is commenting on it, for some reason.
