This stuff is fantastic, and super low calorie! Sometime I’ll mix it with chicken or just eat it by itself with some hot sauce for flavor. About 200 calories in an entire bag. It’s actually helped me lose a lot of weight!
My local Costco even had the 4-pack on sale recently for $6.59. Give it a shot if yours has it!

Curious about your choice of Palisades > Mammoth. I’ve never done Palisades, but intend to soon. Mammoth is great. Mind elaborating? Just curious, not refuting.

Thanks! I actually just grabbed the 188s earlier today, so this makes me feel even better about my decision. Sounds like I’ll still be able to have fun after a few ski beers too! Cheers!

Thanks for the advice. Any recommendations?

Can I ask why you'd not recommend anything Marker? Not debating, just curious.

Hey there! Great question and one I wrestled with last year pre-season. FWIW I also ski the Tahoe area. Without trying either and based solely off online research I went with the Masterblasters, and they are definitely great skis.
My only complaint with the Masterblasters that I didn’t think would bother me as much as it did is the weight. For the size these are some heavy skis, and I can feel it. That extra weight from the metal laminate does give you a lot of stability though, and in general I’d say these skis are basically bombproof.
For comparison one day I demo’d some Bent Chetlers and they are so much lighter and still felt plenty stable while bombing down runs. Not as stable as the Masterblasters, but still pretty stable for my ski style. Truth be told while the Masterblasters are great skis and I’m still very satisfied with them, after skiing on both if I were to do it again I’d probably grab the Chetlers.

I always put something in the garage that blocks me from driving into it, so I physically have to get out of the car to move it. Makes it impossible to not see the bikes, plus as soon as you open the garage and see it you instantly remember. An opened A-frame ladder works great.

Word brother. I have a son now too and just watched this movie for the first time since I was young. The soup and river scenes hit me hard in the feels

There’s busy, and then there’s the Del Paso Safeway parking lot at 5pm. My tolerance level for nearly getting hit by a car every time I need some milk must be pretty low I guess :P Granted I’ll admit I just don’t like crowds in general. I do really miss those parks though, especially with my kids. The parks in West Sac don’t even come close.
edit: wrong street name

We almost bought a home in North Natomas last year and lived in an apartment there while we were house hunting. After living there for 4 months I’m really glad we decided to look elsewhere. Sure the parks are really nice, but in general the area already felt crowded, and they just keep building more and more homes, closer and closer together. The shopping centers, especially after work, are a madhouse and the parking lots are an exercise in patience. Some of the neighborhood “streets” in the new developments were so narrow they felt more like alleys.
We settled on the Southport area of West Sac near the Nugget shopping center. If you’re looking for nice quiet generally new neighborhoods, then I would highly suggest it. The home prices are very similar to Natomas Park, plus no HOAs. Also you’re not required to have flood insurance (although that might be changing soon and we still have it just for peace of mind). I would bet on most days it takes me less time to drive to downtown then it does the average North Natomas resident to get to the freeway. Reading your original post Southport sounds like it would meet a lot of your needs. Check it out

That’s really funny, I called the color the same exact thing when I bought mine. Battleship Grey just fits

It’s a beaut! Will always upvote a Cement Tundy. 99% of the time mines a family hauler too

I do use the radio form time to time. Live in a fairly urban area. Thanks I think I’ll do this

Agreed

Thanks! That’s very interesting. Is this one that would assist while you are parking, or it it for recording in case of accidents / pedestrian fraud? Have any advice on camera make / model? Thanks

Done. Haha

Thanks! Recommendations on an antenna?

Thanks! Didn’t even know this one existed. My wife will definitely appreciate it. I think this might actually be the first thing I do

Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely look into that
