Not sure if you're getting downvoted because nobody realizes the satirical nature of your post, or if it's because people DO realize it and don't appreciate you pointing out that an unforgivably large percentage of people on this sub don't know what an amiibo is and call every figure they put on a stand an amiibo.

Well if there ever is a hope that they'll be valuable someday then NiB first print is the way to go. A lot of collectors just enjoy the challenge though, could be that he wants to collect them that way because it's harder. Don't see why it matters.

With all due respect, probably the easiest thing to find with the search bar are the dozens of PSA posts demanding people use the search bar.

A more productive solution would be to help show people to where they can find the information they're looking for in a more direct way (like say leaving a comment linking to the megathread or outright answering the question.)

I understand it can be frustrating seeing the same posts over and over but it's the same anytime any news breaks on this subreddit, best learn to accept it. You can rest assured the mods are being kept busy trying to keep the subreddit clean. No sense in adding to the clutter.

The mods on this subreddit reserve the right to remove any post we feel is in violation of any of our rules, as well as ask anybody to provide proof that they possess the amiibo they're offering. Sassy replies to our requests don't make our jobs any easier.

As I said, please provide proof you have the amiibo on hand and I will put your thread back up. You can add the picture to the body of your post, post it as a comment here, or message the moderators with the image. If you can't or won't do that, then I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do.

As for the posts getting stale, there are tons of other posts that get made on this subreddit that have been being reposted over and over again for much longer than 2 weeks, unfortunately it's something you have to get used to around here. So unless you're salty that you're not getting a call there's no reason to go out of your way to shit on someone's thread (and even still that's not a very good excuse.)

Sorry but that's just not true. You can browse eBay right now and see her selling as low as $35. She's inflated a bit in the last couple months and sells closer to $50 more often, but that's hardly the average, $60 is even farther removed.

I think a Falcon for a Rosalina is a fair trade, but Captain Falcon doesn't really go for much more than $45 tops himself. :/

I really hope you wouldn't pay $60 for a Rosalina because that's a horrible deal even by market standards.

For real. I can understand being salty about not getting your preorder but Target seems like they're trying their best. The problem is limited supply, which Target has no control over.

I'm not sure where you're supposed to ask if not here. I'll give you a general guide based on my interpretation though.

Those are all assuming NA NiB based on what I personally think is fair given rarity and price trends on Craigslist and eBay. For imports, honestly anything between MSRP and $35 is pretty good, though you may have to pay a bit more for Little Mac or Villager.

Just because the tracking says it'll arrive by a certain time that doesn't mean that it can't arrive earlier.

My tracking for Toad from Target said it was due Thursday, was in the mail box today. This has happened with packages from Walmart and even eBay as well. I'd say wait until it arrives before getting all frazzled over it. If you see that it was a few hours away today and it doesn't come for 3 days, go ahead and get bent out of shape, but you'll feel silly ranting about it now if it comes tomorrow.

There is literally a NiB NA Meta Knight on eBay, Buy It Now, Free Shipping for $45. Whoever made this offer isn't all that smart. lol

I'd say take it, buy a new Meta Knight, and put the profit toward further Amiibo addictions.

Sorry but hoarding rare Amiibo for trades isn't much better than scalping. :P I'm more sympathetic to OP's actual excuse of wanting one to open and one to keep in the box.

Unfortunately you may be out of luck until Amazon.de/.it/.fr gets a restock, because that or getting real lucky on eBay are the only ways you'd get a Villager that cheap I'm afraid.
