I love reading these comments on making HUGE FLAC files as if your some sort of audiophile with a $30,000 sound system that you're blaring in a room built for sound. These are the same people that buy a 50" TV and their couch is 6 feet away. Anyway...you are listening to these on an iPod or iPod like device which means you are using ear buds or your car stereo. Given that you will notice ZERO difference between almost ANY format. It's like buying that $30,000 head unit and sticking kmart speakers on it. In other words, for the average listener, with city and car noise, conversation, or not, it's simply a waste of space to go with many of these ideas. Just saying...

BTW: Yes that's iTunes Match which converted my 24,521 songs (25,000 song limit) from a mix of MP3 bit rates to clean 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free versions. It's $24 a year but once you get your stuff converted they are yours. The yearly fee gives you access on any Apple device. For example on my iPhone I can access my entire 24,000+ song library and download the songs I want when I want. Given I only have a 32GB iPhone is awesome as I can delete and add at will depending upon my mood or preference that moment.

Why was this posted to the iPhone area when there is ZERO malware for iOS and the article, even thought it as an Apple graphic, doesn't make mention of it. Go post this in the Android area.

Hope this also serves as a reminder to all husband's and fathers, no matter what your age, to make sure you have a good life insurance policy in place so your wife and kids don't need to go through something like this. It's hard enough to loose a spouse and parent without also putting them in a financial bind as well. Good rule of thumb is five to 10 times your annual salary depending on your spouse's earning potential etc. In any case I hope everything works out for this family! Very sad.
