My title describes the thing. We found it on a bookshelf while cleaning, with no indication of what it belonged to. It is approximately six inches long, rigid, and attracts a magnet from our fridge. I don’t know how old it is or where it came from.

I used an AI assistant and reverse image search on Google to search for possible matches using terms related to metal hooks, Dutch oven lid lifters, and grate lifters, but nothing told me what it was. A lid lifter was suggested initially, but we don’t have anything that would work with.

Employee Blue Cross. No agreement was signed. Blue Cross said they just process in network or out of network and said I have to deal with the providers for billing.

My insurance said they bill in or out of network only and their responsibility ends there - it’s a Blue Cross affiliate.

I just called BCBS, and they said for NSA, it is up to the out of network provider to write off the balance if they choose to and the out of network provider deals with NSA; not them.

Had a 2cm at the very bottom of my kidney waiting to go in my bladder, making my entire right side hurt like the dickens. No pain killers touched it. They hospitalized me for a few days this week and put a stent in (male) Wed. The CT said the stone is right at the bottom of the kidney waiting to go in the bladder. The stent follow up appointment will be set this coming Monday, but the MD said that it may even still go through to the bladder with the stent in. However, I still have bladder spasms. They put me on hyoscyamine .125 for now every four hours plus drinking water.

The stent itself isn’t really bothersome as much as the right flank pain still is. Is there some point that will decrease? Is it only when the stone moves into the bladder? How long is typical until they usually take this out or try to get that 2mm stone out so I can go do my day to day activities again without being in so much pain?
