I am so incredibly envious of your ability. This is exactly the style of painting that I love so much. Have never gotten close to being able to paint like that. You are inspiring and insanely talented. I absolutely love LOVE your style and work. Do you paint professionally or is it a hobby? I need one of your paintings. Do you sell originals or prints?

Awe! Thanks! I love his pouch so much too. I love to gently squish it! Luckily he also likes it’s being squished.

Oh my gosh the stink bugs. You have them too?! They come out of the vents like crazy this time of the year. The cats love catching and eating them.

Same. Seems to be the general consensus. Trash and cardboard boxes are wayyyy better than those fancy toys and beds.

You’re arguing against things I never said. This has nothing to do with hating religion or wanting poor children trapped in failing schools. It’s about how Ohio prioritizes education funding.
Vandalia-Butler has seen its state-related funding decrease while operating costs continue to rise. The district has already made millions in spending cuts and eliminated programs. Meanwhile, Ohio has significantly expanded funding for private-school vouchers.
And saying we should “fund kids, not systems” sounds great until you realize public schools are the systems responsible for educating the vast majority of Ohio’s children, including students with disabilities and those whose families can’t realistically access private schools.
Nobody is arguing that children shouldn’t have opportunities. I’m arguing that expanding those opportunities shouldn’t come at the expense of adequately funding the public schools that serve everyone.
And pointing out differences in funding priorities isn’t an attack on Catholic schools. It’s a criticism of government policy. Those are two very different things.

You are the one who doesn’t understand what you are talking about.
A significant portion of Ohio's increased education spending is going toward private-school vouchers, charter schools, and other education programs rather than traditional public school districts like Vandalia-Butler.
This is and has always been the case for republicans. Take money away from public schools and use that money for the private sector. I’m not sure why you are trying so hard to debate me on this. It is literally republican policy. Are you a republican? If you are then surely you will agree with that policy and will stop trying to defend against it.
State democrats run on increasing the funding for public schools. Republicans run on sending that funding as vouchers for private schools. How do you not understand this?

My guy, I never said democrats can’t be corrupt, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THIS ADMINISTRATION has been doing?!?! Like, you’d have to be blind to not see it. My husband saw it and it was why he wanted to vote against these corrupt fucks. You can make up what ever dream scenario you want to think happened between my husband and I to change his mind, but you are just trying to justify your own opinions so you don’t have to consider the possibility that you may be on the wrong “team.” It’s literally like a sports team to people like you. Screw that. Let’s vote for the people who will do something for everyday Americans instead of just the rich and corporations like the Trump admin does. If you want to continue to be a supporter for the 1% then you go for it. We will support the average American and vote for people who support us.

I showed my sample tiles to our contractor today and he visibly made a frown face when I showed him the fluted one. So I’m just going to go ahead and say nope to that one. Another commenter suggested a flat tile with a similar look color wise. (Terracotta tile with a thin white glaze on top.) so I’ve ordered a few samples of tile like that. Anxious to see them in person.

Hahaha 😆 okay. Love the “do your own research” when asked to elaborate your answer. It’s always “do your own research” instead of actually explaining why you think that way, which anyone with a valid reason would be able to answer. It’s like you all say that to get out of having to explain why you feel the way you do.

I’d keep it private if I had the choice. It feels invasive because I don’t know what else they are trying to accomplish by sending those. Same reason I don’t like flock cameras. I also just do not like authoritarian governments and tracking our data is coming off as being too invasive to our privacy as citizens. I know there is a huge amount of conservatives who love that kind of thing, which is wild considering they call themselves the party of “small government.” But maybe you could explain to me why you don’t have a problem with any of that?
No_Language_4649
Dude has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s like the people who are interviewed at Trump rallies who have an opinion about everything, but can’t explain their reasoning behind it. Absolute Fox News propaganda gutter trash.

Okay, can you please point me to specific examples because I haven’t seen or heard that. All I’ve seen are some supporting democratic socialism (like healthcare for all) which pretty much all developed countries have and support. Do you support federal financial aid for farmers? For banks? For corporations? That is all an example of democratic socialism which happens all the time, but I never see your lot complaining about that.

Who said that the state or city is increasing funding? I literally said they have decreased funding year after year for the last 4 years. We live in a great city outside of Dayton. I know this because my children go to school in our district and I’ve looked up the numbers as well as our superintendent making district wide announcements about it. I’m not making up anything. I’m talking about reality. I know your lot likes to deny and attack, but that’s not going to change the reality of what is happening with funding for schools in Ohio. Sorry I hurt your feelings by talking about how awful conservative Republicans are for public funding for necessary services. They see that as socialism so naturally they don’t support it. But keep talking about how that isn’t happening in your reality as if it is the truth.

The CRAZY part is that women like us don’t want to attract men. We’d rather NOPE the fuck out of every situation with men.
No_Language_4649
You should definitely look into that.
No_Language_4649
Glad to know you see numbers but are able to disassociate with the reality of what is happening in our school district despite my giving you a real world example. We have a republican run state. They are notorious for getting rid of things like public school because they want to privatize the earnings the schools would make if it isn’t a government run program. I believe that there are certain things the government should run, like public school and healthcare, due to power grabs and corruption that happens when the “small government” people get in office. These people get in office and burn down democracy as we know it. People will cry that it is “socialism” or “communism” but they don’t understand what socialism and communism even mean.

I love how much Sphynx parents love their babies! My guy is similar (but more fur) and he’s the snuggliest cat I’ve ever met.
