Synecdoche, New York doesn't really tell you what's going on...

Jimmy Chamberlain had to choose between being a union carpenter and Smashing Pumpkins

Rarely have I seen a player take to a club as well as Big Ron has to us. I watch him and think "this is a Red", on the pitch and off. I really only watch Liverpool, I'll catch a match if I'm somewhere and it's playing, but never by choice. I don't know how well he fit into Barça culture, but generally if you need to leave a place looking for a refresh, it's probably the place you left.

I agree, if he wants to go back, we shouldn't keep him. Just get the feeling he doesn't want to.

Not if we exercise our buyout, they won't have a choice

Had a hard time doing ratings for the game, no one really stood out to me, but everyone was very good. Absolutely love how much better and fiercer we've been playing, and watching heart and passion on the pitch again.

Iraola has been spot on with his squad management, something there was a lot of concern about at his appointment (not experienced in Europe/game every 3 days). He's shown the kids there is indeed a pathway into the first team, and what's expected and what one needs to do.

Genuinely excited about games again, something that I was angry that I lost last half of last season.

In my case I stayed with my team when the player I liked left.

Sit him. Iraola is doing a fantastic job of player management, even with a thin squad. But I'm ok sacrificing this comp for league, CL, FA cup, a few less games while everyone gets healthy is fine by me.

Don't watch teams for stars they used to have, find the current players you like and find out where they play.

My personal fave (and he only got the role two days prior to this due to an actor incident)

Gene Wilder - Blazing Saddles

First against Villarreal, iirc

Bad software QA in the "divert votes to the candidate I want" division maybe?

And Ndukwe... It's an embarrassment of riches

The number of people who were complaining about AI having no Euro experience, particularly handling a squad when you play a lot more often than Bournemouth, may be quietly going back and massaging those posts....

Better yet, people shouldn't be fucking idiots, either.

4-6 hours, I do a trip every other week I'll be driving 8.5 for coz I need a break from flying it...

And... Should have had a few more minutes in the previous two seasons. Nothing gaudy, but get the kids on the field now and then

∆ - Bo Ningen

Long story short.

A girl I was seeing at the time was a huge REO Speedwagon fan, they came to town, it did it immediately. I hated REO. This same buddy calls me up day of the show, he just win a pair of tix, do I wanna go? Sure, why not. Girl was pissed when she found out.

The girl he was gonna take to Zep was the same girl, we had broken up, and this is the first time I'm breaking my solemn vow to him - I could never tell her it was he who won the tix.

Apparently they got married sometime in the mid 80s...

That was the show I was going to go to, Toronto is about 4 hours from me and my preferred destination for music.

Where'd they play?

Sounds about right. One call to the parents if you were gonna be late, truly local stores/food, news was compartmentalized to the 6PM hour, there were morning and late news shows, but nothing of note. If you wanted more news, read the newspaper.

My buddy had tix for the Buffalo show, if the girl he was interested in didn't want to go, it was mine.

Of bands I had a reasonable chance of seeing:

REM
Nirvana
Yoo II avec Nolan Potter
Prince

Otoh

His engine rn is top notch, but I get ya.

Sounds familiar...

Our new CB pack would help that a lot.

Some of the guys from there have a label, Guruguru Brain, that has a lot of good stuff, some hard stoner, a lot of acid folk. They concentrate on Asia, but have some European bands.
