I dont even have a TV, just an 8 year old tablet that was like a hundred bucks. My 360 died and I haven't been able to afford another console, so I got rid ov the 10 year old TV I had that I found by the trash, lol.

Aliexpress often has some pretty cheap bjd sets of clothes that fit 1/6 dolls and are a little baggy on my Irrealdoll Tali which is sort of a 1/8 scale doll. But she also fits some barbie clothes.

I've had GREAT success at cheap skirts by buying those sort of really floofy hair scrunchies and just tightening the elastic. You can layer them too. But also a pleated skirt like that isn't too hard to hand make! Hand sewing isn't too hard, for me it's just the cutting and remembering to put things the right way. But I've definitely gotten some cheap like 3 to 4 dollar clothes sets with a skirt, or shorts, and a sweater and socks on aliexpress or temu. Some of the dresses are kinda ugly but you can always cut parts off or use it and dissect it for patterns.

Oh and those sort of metal hair clips that are triangular are great inside bases if you wanna felt some fox ears. And look for those fake little fur ball Keychain that can be cheap, it's a square of fabric and you can open it up and repurpose it for a tail. Sock sweaters are also pretty straightforward to make and there's lots of tutorials.

This happens to me a lot but all the tests say I don't have diabetes. BUT I am guilty of what I call 'snake meal' where I am not hungry when I wake up until the afternoon, then I eat a huge meal, and then like two or three hours later I get the shakes and then feel the urge to just eat everything in sight.

Trying to get better at it but I literally can't stand the thought of chewing and swallowing early in the day and just have to mechanically shove something in. I think I'm insulin resistant now because that then triggers the shakes in 2 hours and I need a snack even when I try to focus on protein and not carbs for the 'I do t want to eat but have to' snack meal, which is usually string cheese and an apple or veggies.

Also likely undiagnosed autism here and I am either forgetting to eat or eating everything.

It's easier to buy jist heads secondhand than from companies, but a lot of the time the heads I want are attached to bodies I don't want and dont want to pay for and a seller doesn't want to split up. Like, I don't need a zillion bodies. The dolls are dressed, I hardly see the body. I just want new faces.

I don't think the hobby is losing out to people buying blind boxes though, cuz most of the folks paying $20-$150 bucks for those wouldn't generally go for anything priced higher than that from what I've seen. But no way a basic bjd is going to be that low unless it's tiny.

Personally I just try to enjoy what I own and make my own stuff. Paying for the dolls is fine but the clothes are more than I spent on my own clothes, so I always get a bit hesitant at buying them even secondhand.

I accidentally just posted instead of replied, but I really don't, it's mostly just an image in my head. I dont know if other people get as embarrassed about OC's especially when they've had one for a long time.

I know this doesn't make much sense but he's mostly lived in my head and as a story character. I've drawn him sometimes but nothing terribly realistic, and I get sort of embarrassed to draw him even though no one would see the drawings, lol. But he looks basically like the Pic of the bjd I posted, just with blue eyes and freckles, and curlier hair. But the image in this reply is close. This is him at like maybe 23. The OP Pic would just be a cute younger version.

My question is, wor,books with accurate skeletons exs8te doing before A.i. I get that some stuff gets updated and shit but isn't there non-copyright stuff they can use, or is this a 'the Professor made the book and you had to pay out the ass for it' sort of situation?

From what I've seen with a bigger wound there isn't enough skin and cat skin is too fragile, it has to heal open or have a graft. I saw a post from 2 months ago here about someone who had a cat with a chronic open wound and I was just looking for some more advice if possible for anyone who has dealt with this.

My name tag had flipped over when I was working yesterday, and this old lady peered forward really close across the checkout counter to look at the random sticker I had on the back of it and was like 'what's your name, horse? You don't have a name.'

And I said 'it's a spinosaurus sticker' and she was like 'well I can't see your name! What am I supposed to call you?'

And the vibe I'm getting is just a bit off and making me uncomfortable because why do you need to know my name anyways? So I just joked that my name was 'T-Rex' by I go by Tyrannosaurus to get her to go away but she was just weirdly aggressive about it. Like that fake laughing and just a tone you know after dealing with thousands of people for a decade. She was about 80. In general I think anybody who cares about name tags is one of those difficult type of customers who just makes things weird.

Cat asthma. Some can have like one attack a month or something, others several times a week. If you maybe changed cat litters to something a bit too disty or allergies have been bad for you, they can be bad for kitty as well.

Litter is the biggest culprit besides just genetics. Dusty litter triggers asthma attacks.

This is Tali without a faceup, but a alpaca wig I made, a fashion Avenue Ken and white shirt I got in a bag of barbie clothes at a thrift for like 11 bucks for everything, and a literal dollar store hair accessory as a skirt. She's since gotten a faceup but I went too heavy with the red and I wanna wipe it.

My first one was dollzone Carlo, about $250, a 1/6. Then I got a 1/4 charm doll diyami full set for about $510. Then I got an irrealdoll tali 1/7th for about 500. My I got 3 Bonnie rabbits for $60. My last is a dream valley 1/4 scale dragon and that was $800.

Haven't bought one since. I did buy a charm doll Eric cowboy outfit for about $110 and some cheap clothes and like 3 wigs off of temu, and I got a great deal on like 90 pairs of eyes for about 90 bucks on ebay once. But otherwise it's been like, handmade clothes and yarn wigs from whatever dollar store or thrift stuff I can use. Also maybe like fifty bucks total for some faceup supplies and glue and nylon, etc. So maybe $2,500 total? And that's over maybe.... five years? Maybe six.

Yo i wanna see that dragon. I have a dream valley 1/4 scale dragon but I haven't seen many others and I always love seeing rare sculpts.

My cat got cancer, a swollen lip that quickly became hard and rubbery. She was 3 months on some topical prednisone for maintenence and I had to put her down when it was too hard for her to eat and she was miserable. Kitty doesn't wanna be miserable and in pain, and honestly the best thing you could do was just love him as long as you have. Sometimes the stress for everyone involved is just too much.

My age. Am I instantly dead or have I forced myself into becoming a being who does not die from age? Either way, could be fun!

Iverecently gotten so tired of working, I'm not gonna lie I considered doing so stupid shit like doing one of those 'humiliation' lives where I fail to make something as simple as a sandwich and drop everything everywhere and cry because how is that different from my life right now? Audrey is a beautiful man character and I seriously get stupid envy over a comic character whenever I see a new one of him and Val. NGL I wish a nice extroverted person would friend adopt me and I'm not nearly as crusty as Val is, lol.
