I have only a bunch of wired fences and it keeps him - and the normal ones - from spawning.

My first Character has the Mall as her main base. It got clothing, an arcade, easily fixable defense and I can surround myself with mines, turrets etc. without worries.

Fine with me, start a war with NATO you dumb fucks, see how well you can hold out against us directly instead of just delivered weapons and munitions.

I roleplay as someone who is interested in keeping the people alive, so I put up storage boxes with Tools, Food, Water, Medical supplies, guns, ammo, tents, sleeping bags and headsets with microfones - in my imagination thats how survivors get a chance to meet up at the safe zones.

Oh also basic crafting stations and campfires of course.

So I just have safe houses where a crusher and valkyrie are sitting around cause I like the style of the normal Benelli more.

There are more examples but lets just say I liked it better than Orks and Trolls had vastly shorter lifespans, where way uglier looking and basicly had the system nearly entirely stacked against them for it.

Made it more gritty and showed just how little the Corporate controlled world cared for the less fortunate and their needs (tougher ambulances for their weight and bulk, apartments that they can enter and life in without issue etc.).

Later editions they all look like fucking Mascara or something wanted to gentrify Orks and Trolls by human beauty standards or something with less of their natural divergences showing and make them more appealing to the norms eyes..... which could actually be very much the case in Shadowrun..... Still miss it tough.
