29, no issues with PIED, but I've been in that cycle since about 13. Started going down the route of watching darker stuff. Eventually got closer to God even though I've been a Christian my whole life, but it just seems almost inconceivable to consume such media when you are trying to walk according to the word of God. The closer you get, the more you push away evil things of the world. Not saying I'm anywhere close to being a saint, but I think it has a huge part in it.

Unfortunately Japan can't fix everything (I've been 4 times lol). You really gotta confront your demons. I'm hitting 30 and at some point, you just gotta come to terms with your situation and what you can and cannot afford while saving for a house, your career, etc. If that means less trips, then so be it. Don't just go full isolation but you gotta figure out that balance out for yourself. For me personally, it's working out and working on cars and I'm starting to get more into sim racing. Cars in general make me really happy, I love renting rhd cars in Japan and what not. But sim racing is the next best thing while developing my skills. So that's something I can just do at home. That's gonna be different for every person. I get the anxiety part too. I have some general anxiety that follows me around. Trust me when I say, changing location does not matter as I'm sure you're aware now.

Sorry I'm writing in blocks. I find that my anxiety goes off for the dumbest of reasons sometimes but also it's cause I'm essentially not living the life I should be, and its just your conscious wanting to redirect you. So listen to yourself but also realize that you're not alone. I know it sucks sometimes.

I'm with you on wanting to experience new things and do what you wanna do but you gotta keep it real too. Age will sneak up on ya and then it can be too late for some. Especially for the girlies (I am not but more power to ya)
