saw this and had to comment bc i'm building something in this space: a video-first AI anime drama app where you play through stories, make choices, and can write your own dramas. the "characters actually sounding like themselves" problem is basically the whole reason we exist.
we're in private beta and looking for people to try the early version and tell us what sucks. no big commitment, just poke around if you're curious.
