I've got basically the exact same clog expect 400 more delves. All my friend are saying not to complain because I got so many boots but I just want to get out of here :(

Is there some sort of ad campaign for this company on this subreddit? I swear I've seen five posts about this store for a brand I've never heard of. What is making this such a popularly posted/upvoted topic for Waterloo?

Last time I was on Windows, the bootloader went out and, after hours of trying to fix it, the solution I kept getting was to just "reinstall Windows" and to find some way to backup my data. I ended up using a live Linux OS to backup my data and, while watching it copy over my data, I thought to myself "This OS is saving my ass right now. Why am I not using it primarily?". Haven't been back to Windows since.

Not directly related but how come you're using Bolt instead of the official launcher? It seems like it's been working great for people on Steam Deck.

As costs of everything goes up, people start really focusing on preserving what they have. I agree that you should be enjoying a product that you purchased, but when a potential replacement becomes outside peoples' budgets (and keeps getting worse) then they tend to start looking into what provides longevity. The "iFixit no longer sells LCD batteries" fiasco didn't help either.

They made elites even worse for this with the "Defeat the Shellbane Gryphon". Nothing like having your clue setup on and now having to dump it all to make sure you have a specific weight on for one clue step.

Can't you get aldarium from the custodian stalker chest?

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I use the "Legacy applications scale themselves" option since it results in crisp display for about 95% of my applications. Runelite and, like you said, Steam are the only two that are blurry with this setting but look good with the "Scaled by the system setting" (which results in the other 95% of applications becoming blurry). Here's to hoping the new launcher results in only Steam giving me the issue since I don't stare at it as much.

Has anyone with a mixed-dpi setup and kde tried this out? My runelite has been super blurry on my 1080p monitor but crisp on my 1440p monitor. Wonder if this will help it.

Not with that attitude!

Evo ja igram OSRS od 2016. Odlicna igrica. Kanadzan sam pa nemam ideju za bih clan ali posalji mi username u dm ako hoces nekog sto prica nas :).

Yay for sure. I use them daily to separate out my work and personal uses. It makes sharing my desktop for work so much easier by keeping all non-work windows and icons off the screen. It also works great for separating the work and life without having to close all of my work windows every night.

I can't wait for native notifications. Ever since I upgraded one of my 1080p monitors to 1440p, the notification has been choosing where to randomly appear from after every boot.
Odzinic
Kinda unrelated but has anyone had success with scaling Runelite on mixed resolution setups with KDE? It looks great on my 1440p with 110% scaling monitor but blurry as anything on my 1080p monitor. It's basically the only application that doesn't scale well for me.

Amazing widget, thank you so much for your work. My only question is: is there a way to get the temperature value in the task manager icon to look similar to the default weather widget? I tend to have my task manager quite small and it is quite hard to see the number value in this widget. https://imgur.com/G1tMtP9

You can also use the official Jagex Launcher now instead of Bolt. It's in beta but has worked fine for me.

There was a sign on the door of Pur and Simple in Uptown saying they're hiring. Our server had just started the same day that we were there so they must be desperate. Not sure if they're still looking or if it's something you want but thought I'd mention. Good luck!
Odzinic
Thank you, Jagex! The number of essays I've had to read about why we don't deserve this and how we already had a perfect alternative. I appreciate that the team listened to us.

It was an AppImage that I integrated.

Might be worth trying it again with the latest experimental. The fix just came out a few days ago.
Odzinic
Are you saying that you had issues with using a controller? Because if so, there was an update to fix controller issues with it in the latest proton experimental.
Odzinic
Wow I was spending so much time trying to figure out why the game wasn't working through remote play on my steam deck. I was thinking the controller issues were simply caused by remote play but looks like it was Proton all along.

Thanks for commenting this. I get downvoted to oblivion every time I try to discuss the downsides of relying on a third party solution. I don't know if it's people that just don't get how volunteer maintained software works sometimes or just non-Linux users thinking we're complaining for the sake of it.
You can set a pin code on the Deck so that you have to enter a multi digit pin before the Deck will sign into your Steam account. It's in the Steam Deck settings.
