It doesn't take you that long to learn another character if you're already GM, I played like four casual games with the new Sombra and jumped into ranked, most of OW boils down to gamesense and that's transferable between characters

Suzu can counter literally every damage dealing ult in the game, but not every fight is an ult fight and in the current meta the neutral game is extremely important.

Suzu is amazing to keep you on the fight, but we're in a heavy dive meta where you don't want to stay in fights, you want them to end as fast as possible and if they take too long you just run away and reset. Suzu is still strong, but in a dive meta cooldowns Cyber, Anti and Discord are considerably better because they can secure quick kills on the backline.

Cyber is for sure better than Suzu right now, as strong as Suzu is, it's a purely reactive ability, you use it to cleanse or go through enemy cooldowns, meanwhile Cyber and Anti can be used both reactively and proactively. Suzu is strong af, but it was always slightly overrated and as annoying as it is the problems with Kiri are actually her ult and her mobility.

I've been almost exclusively playing Sombra and Tracer this season, today was a Tracer day and literally all of games where Sombra wasn't banned was just me, her and a tank (Winston or Doom) going "3, 2, 1" and then jumping a backliner, something you can't do with any other support except Cat

No she's for sure broken right now, it's just that she's very hard to play and requires teamwork so she's not gonna be broken for most of the playerbase, only for the top ranks.

She's just like Lucio in that sense, for most ranks Lucio is kinda mid, but in GM and above he's still crazy good.

Support more than the other roles is very influenced by ult fights, if you check the pro league part of the reason Lucio Kiri has been perma meta for years is because Beat and Kitsune are both S tier ults. EMP is pretty much a guaranteed team fight, you don't even need to combo with anything you just tell your team to go all in and then you pop EMP.

Also, Cyberspace is lowkey top 5 cooldowns in the game if you know how to use it.

I can't speak for lower ranks, but in my GM lobbies she gets banned somewhat often just because she's currently overtuned, if you're not gonna ban Doctrine or Ana might as well ban Sombra. Design wise she's pretty cool tho and once she's balanced I don't think she's gonna get banned often

I'm GM, I know a bunch of people and they know me, that has never lost me or won me a game, most people in my games even have public profiles so even if you don't know them you can just check what they play

That's what "Avoid as teammate" is for, it's even better than just hiding your name because it still allows them to be on the enemy team
