30 years last month.  

 I've  kept a daily journal. Not too much has chsnged, except my writing has evolved from complaining about my life (read: cringey teenager years, bullying, abuse, etc) to an account of my day. I think being married with a supportive spouse who I can talk to has turned my diaries into an account of my day rather than a place to word vomit. 

 The only other change I can think of right now (it's  late and my chickens got me up early 😒) is I write down what songs I'm listening to /obsessing over at the moment.  Wish I'd started sooner- I turn the songs into a Spotify "songs to write to" list. 

I usually just put the date, underline it, skip a line, and begin my entry. Have done this years and years. Recently, though, I've started adding songs I am currently  obsessed  with. I love looking back  and adding them to a Spotify list for writing.   Wish I had started this 30 years ago 😞
