CFB Recruiting Guide  

Preseason 

1.  Sorting in your home state filter all by no offers and select 14 of the highest possible 4-5 stars as possible or as many 4 stars in this criterion as possible. 

2. Following this fill the remaining slots with highest and most interested 3 stars as possible to fill out the remainder of the board. 

3. Present all tentative 35 scholarships to finish off the week (You can scout if you want but there will be high turnover in the first few weeks, so you do not HAVE to) 

Main season strategy 

1. Put as many hours as possible into top ranked recruits to build initial lead in week one 

2. Remove any 3 star that is in tight recruiting battle before you even put points in as it is not worth fighting over easily replaceable 3 stars (3 Star Cut Rule) 

3. See if you have any actual chance on your top recruits and if you are going to be locked out in a week remove them (If it is later in the year when you have points assigned REMOVE THE POINTS BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE RECRUIT. 

4. If you are running away with a prospect, it is worth removing some points to refocus your efforts to tighten up a race on a top 4–5-star prospect  

5. As you head more towards the end of the season and into the transfer portal start to focus more on 2-3 stars to fill out depth for positions STILL LOOK OUT FOR 4-5 STARS TO POOCH but focus on depth at this point. 

6. Make sure your needs are filled YOU DO NOT WANT WALK ONS 

Final notes 

• Overall, your goal should be to get as many quality players as possible it is not a promising idea to focus on quantity over quality 

• It is very much not an exact science, and you will need to make tough decisions on what players to focus on and on what side of the ball you prioritize

Don’t @ me but I don’t think Bonds should be in because of his cheating. HOWEVER, I do believe that if he is let in than there is absolutely no damn reason why great players like Shoeless Joe Jackson and Pete Rose should not be allowed in as well.
