No. It is honestly easy. Way easier if you have a actual rice cooker. All you need to do is wash your rice so all the shit falls out and fill water like you would pasta, not too much water though; otherwise it will get soggy. Rice needs some type enclosed kitchen tool, I've only ever seen it cooked with a pressure cooker and a rice cooker or one of those big ass old ceramic pots.
Edit: Wash and rinse the rice until the water itself is clear.

Nah. I am more talking in terms of having freedom to do whatever you want with the camera.

Not for android firemware/software that are custom ROMs that specifically remove google completely, hence the "A fucking app that is INTIMATELY tied down to a specific fucking brand.". Sure I can install the app itself and sign into my google account and get all the requisites to get the app to "function", but it straight up does not; it will straight up crash.
Android is purpose built to be open source and that was the entire premise. Google clawing that back is a asshole move and establishing a walled garden in a open environment is also a asshole move, especially when a app like google pay is now a staple at every grocery store across the US.
Edit: Some may say, that is the actual premise of those custom ROMs... but THE PHONE IS MINE! I should be able to download and install any app from the play store and expect them to work/function.

Fraud protection... isn't protection anymore. It is fully and truly adversarial now. It's more like, you are guilty until proven innocent... I feel like a criminal using my own money.
OkAngle2353
There is no babysitting step. What do I mean? Every fucking time I attempt to use my own money now, it always triggers fraud for no reason whats so ever. For some reason, banks have become so adversarial. Plus, gaining a credit or two on my score is nice.
With a credit card, in my experience it is very liberating. I personally, would prefer to use my debit card (i.e. my own damn money); but... what keeps me from using my debit card is these stupid triggers. I did not opt in at all, I am the kind of person that checks my account and sets actual notifications, if and when money comes in and out.
Edit: There is more times where my debit card will decline, JUST because my bank deemed it a risk. This causes a lot of unnecessary public judgement. Leading people to look down on others, when all it is... the BANK not letting me use my damn money.
Fuck. This honestly pisses me off. I wish they would stick to what the books say and trigger when my debit card spends $10k or more or trigger on rapid fire charges.
God forbid, I attempt to use my own fucking money and the bank is closed...
Bank: "Oh, you are spending your own money in a different state? Guess what?? Yes! Fuck you."
Bank: "Oh, you are attempting to send a domestic wire? Guess what?? HA! Wire hold for a month or more, without any indication of progress. May even cancel the request all together without any fucking notice."
Edit edit:... man, I so wish there was a credit style wire option so I don't have to deal with my fucking bank.

And the clerk be computers and the computers are just going to be chugging on.

IMO Mega is one of the most trustworthy cloud service out there. If I had to use a cloud service, Mega would be my first choice.
Edit: For password management, I personally use one of the keepass family; KeepassXC. Keepass in general, straight up encrypts by default; so any cloud service is fine. Plus, I can access my passwords without a internet connection or a server; which is a huge plus for me.
OkAngle2353
Yea... those were dark times...
OkAngle2353
Yea... it took actual time to get to that point with electric cars and a lot of bullshit of "use my charger design" and all the "cloak and dagger" of it all... phones is another beast altogether, exclusive apps; some you can't even install them on to the phone if the brand doesn't match or people can install them, but... the functionality hinges on some bullshit ass check.
With google pay for example, not only do people need to sign in to use the damn thing; the app also needs to pass a stupid check to even function and all their other bullshit. With apple, not as egregious as google; requires people to purchase their expensive ass phones.
Honestly it's way worse in google's case because, they made it a point to have android be open source, to only claw that shit back later; rather deeply.
Edit: Yet another example is samsung pay. You can't even install the damn thing on any other branded android device.
OkAngle2353
That them be called CRTs. Them shits died out ages ago.
Edit: Or are you talking the other way around?
OkAngle2353
How so? Addresses are how people transact. Keys? Don't know what you are talking about there.
OkAngle2353
I would recommend a tangem, but I HIGHLY recommend you go with the seed phrase option and also use a passphrase on top of that seed phrase.
OkAngle2353
The US is still fucking behind. People need to purchase expensive ass shit for the privilege of using a form of NFC pay. At least with cash, there is no stupid ass strings attached; just pay and go. No amount of fucking around with a stupid fucking app.
Edit: A fucking app that is INTIMATELY tied down to a specific fucking brand. It would be fucking nice If I could pay by NFC on any mother fucking phone of my choosing, but no... corpo is going to fucking corpo.
There should be a law on the books, If they strong arm their way into being the staple; they sure as shit should support every fucking device under the damn sun.
OkAngle2353
Welp, is that platform based out of another country that doesn't deal in EURO?
OkAngle2353
USDC is a token, you need the actual coin to cover the transaction/gas fee to use that. BASE, in my experience is super weird; you either need ETH or BASE to cover the transaction, I forget which. Blockchains now-a-days, appear to be some kind of blockchain-centipede situation.
But, in general. You need the blockchain's coin to transact that token. Here is a analogy to help you understand. The blockchain is the country, for example USA and you need USD to cover that exchange of currency (token, USDC).
OkAngle2353
You literally did not provide information to even track the shit down to give you said "refund".
Edit: I mistakenly sent money back your wallet address.
Who is this "your" you are referring to?
OkAngle2353
If you have already sent your coins/tokens, it's quite literally out of crypto.com's hands. That's the thing about this community. You ARE the bank. Unless the other party on the other end of that transaction is willing, you will not get them back.
Edit: Sending any amount of coin/tokens through to a exchange address has a high chance of not being found. How about, posting the address that you used to send crypto.com coins/tokens and start from there or get in contact with their support staff?
Give us more information than "give me a refund". This doesn't help anyone. What did you send and what blockhain/network did you send it?
Maybe a link to the transaction record from a blockchain lookup?

Split tunnel. Move some apps and services out of the VPN conneciton.

What does a kitchen gadget have anything to do with designer nails or even... the bathroom?
OkAngle2353
Why? Hands. Hands touch literally everything. I don't want objects/food being touched by shit filled nails (potentially). It is not sanitary.
