Haha, yes, it's very addictive; the closer you get to the case being solved, the more suspense builds up, and the final reveal did not disappoint imo. I mean, sure, it dragged on for a while there, but man, it is heartbreaking- her own aunt. And it always gets to me how Rosie was just a young girl whose life was just starting, and all she wanted was to live and travel and see places; but little did she know that was her last night ever...

What I can say is just keep watching, it's worth the final reveal, you won't be disappointed.

It’s not the truth tho, not all Muslims and Arabs are bad people who have dubious plans. We’re literally normal people with faith as are so many others. Sure there are extremists that exist in every single religion but we don’t generalize it upon the full community or at least we shouldn’t.

Exactly! Thank you! Like I’ve never seen a character on the show who happened to be Muslim and a good person like a genuinely decent human. It’s always something negative or bad and it gives such a bad image that isn’t even true which can be dangerous yk. But yeah the show fails big time to give proper representation of Islam and people of color in general.

Idk the episodes numbers in precision, but I’ve noticed plenty. But off the top of my head, in season 18, there are two episodes abt Muslims including the one you just said and in the beginning of the season. There is the episode about the Muslim lady who apparently is «oppressed» within her own faith and rebels against it or sth. There is the Declan ones, and the one with the Iranian man where they had him drop the «I’m not Arab, I’m not a terr0rist» line completely unwarranted and for no damn reason. There is also an episode with that detective talking about how ashamed he was to be Muslim and whatnot and then tte general Muslims being oppressive propaganda in mosques and in their own homes and so on and so on…

That’s upsetting truly, these perpetuated stereotypes they keep spreading when I’ve known perfectly pleasant Serbian people.

I don’t think that’s fair, it’s pretty subjective imo. All religions and different faiths have radical groups yet it’s Islam that’s represented time and time again under a negative light. Islam is not oppressive, it’s a religion of peace and acceptance. What a few people decide to do under its name shouldn’t be generalized upon everybody. Muslims happen to be some of the most pleasant, kindest people ever and this is also by testimony from a lot of people. So I don’t think it’s fair to keep showing it as a bad scary thing, because genuinely innocent people end up getting hurt for merely stereotyping like the San Diego sh00ting in the mosque last month that left three innocent people dead, and the perpetrators were of Christian belief yet you don’t see everyone labeling them as terr0rists.

Thank you for your honesty, yeah I noticed the knuckle heads in the comments looking for any opportunity to spread hate and be disrespectful. And yeah unfortunately, like you said, they have to abide by certain things and stereotypes.
