Honestly mine isn't to good either, that's probably why. We're used to important relationships not being healthy, and we kinda want it to stay that way.

If this is really personal you don't have to answer, but how good is your relationship with your parents? I'd they're emotionally unattached and verbally abuse or insult you that might be why.

Or if you're comfortable enough, get him to send nudes and then threaten to leak them if he ever touches you again.
