Look for retrofit smart lock devices. I've seen a few of them. One or two did attach to the lever on the inside of your deadbolt.

I have mine fart once per day when it hears somebody cough. The wife doesn't care for it but it makes me chuckle every time.

I recently noticed a "for" section when editing routines. Mine all say home but I have the option to apply them to my wife or myself.

If looking at that doesn't solve things, double check what room the device is in within the app. Found this can kind of link lights and switches to different alexas that aren't in the same area if they are placed in different rooms.

Also may have to explicitly mention what room the lights are in for the voice command if rooms are set up.

This is how mine is setup. The alexas are in my wife's name. She gave me her credentials and it let me setup my own profile under hers. All the routines and devices show up on both our apps.

When you create rooms, those alexas only effect the devices in that room and/or the alexa you are talking to. You can still control the other devices by specifically stating in your command you want something to happen on another device that is defined in another room.

Try creating rooms in the app to put the different alexas in.

Does your kid have a profile in Alexa?

Recently noticed after the Alexa+ update there was a "For" section when editing my routines. Has my wife, myself and Home in it. If there is a routine running this, it could have something to do with it. Cant find a place where individual devices can be set to an individual user profil though. Just a guess.
