I am doing some exploratory test models using left over space marines for a Iron Hands force. I want a color scheme based on the Iron hands that incorporates more white. Normally the Iron Hands have white gun casings. I am looking for a color design or inspiration ideas for a Iron Hands inspired color scheme with more white than just the gun casings. Just looking for some ideas for more places I can add white and if anyone else has customized theirs a bit.

home-brew, I will not be following the official Iron Hands codex art work, just using that as a launching off point. I love the contrast between White and Black, and love vehicles, so Iron Hands here I come!

Redemptor is just all-around a great unit. Punchy and shooty. A great combo. I equip mine with plasma, icarus launcher, and the mini gatling cannon on the wrist. Very good unit, never fails me on the table top

Personally, it is the contrast of the white guns against the black armor that I love about the Iron Hands scheme. I actually prefer more white than just on the guns. White shoulder pads can also look good, as can white knee pads. I love the sharp, clean white compared against the metallic black armor. Looks so good

Welcome to the pain of painting White Scars. I found adding medium and/or water and giving it a good shake helps. I also always end up adding more medium or water and mixing it on my pallet and having to do multiple coats. Best of luck!

If you are using this as a base color, I have found using spray Corax White (or new White Scar spray) could help.

Corax out of a pot like that will ALWAYS dry up. They never seal well. just poor design and something about the size or texture of White paint molecules or something idk

My Redemptor is a key component of my White Scars assault force!

He provides covering fire and serves as a walking shield to protect my units that are more susceptible to quick deaths like Assault Intercessors or anything that is not behind cover.

I can find lots of EK documentation readily available, but none of the documents seem to clearly list the evolution changes.

In particular I am curious about Poliwrath/Politoed evolution split and the Nidoran line evolutions.

Yes! This. Outriders are the answer to "I need something, anything, right here, right now." The fact they are T5 and 4 wounds to boot with good melee damage output is a bonus. Point and click pretty much anywhere on the battlefield and you have a tough roadblock/objective stealer/screen.

I have two squads of Outriders in my army! Love them! They do great work and are tanky
