I used “mycollegeroomie” and “zeemee” through ERAU to find people that had similar interests to me. I ended up doing it at the last minute and I just added a bunch of people that didnt have roommates yet. But i love my roommates and it worked out very well!

The shifter interprets the potentiometer data then transfers that to the steering wheel then that to usb

No. It doesn’t work. Basically theres two potentiometers inside the shifter. One for the horizontal and vertical positions. The chip calculates the input from each and then creates a “button” for the input then goes through usb. So basically even if you cut the wires and put it into a arduino u would only get numbers and not actual buttons. Lmk if that helps
As an update to this post, I sent my RC2 to DJI and they sent me a brand new one! No hassle, I strongly recommend just sending it in.
