My original long post was deleted accidentally, so I'll try again.
I was sooo nervous my first cleaning and restuffing too! Another person here told us there's a seam in the back. I'll see if reddit will let me post a photo this time. Gently parting the fabric there to reveal the stitching, you should notice an unusually thick thread. This is their closing stitch they specifically keep separate from the other thread, so the rest won't come loose once you cut this to open things up.
I reseal with a ladder stitch when done, and that's likely the same stitch they use when sealing this stuffing hole. Experiment on a scrap piece of cloth if you've never tried ladder, but any stitch I mention is always one of three very simple ones on Youtube vids. Cotton scrap is easy to learn with first, I find. Very forgiving.
I've even opened that stuffing stitch a bit wider on one Squish, as their hole is just not big enough for a by-hand restuffing versus their hose machines. I flip the Squish inside out, reenforce and reseal the damaged stitching with a backstitch, and flip right side out again to restuff and ladder stitch the final hole. Did an embroidery this way as well and am even considering adding fur to Buzzy, as they just gave him a chunk of minky fabric shaped like hair. Many possibilities once you experiment and get over the first fear of opening stitch work!
You might consider a different colour thread for the closure ladder stitch so that you can tell it from their normal white thread for future opening up.
Hope this helped!

I say if it doesn't take up space and can be stored, keep it. This material is unlike any you'll find in a fabric store with the other minky fur, and with Jo-Ann's gone, well... Keep it if you can.

Not that it's any excuse for the lower quality in recent years, but look up the ladder stitch. You'll seal this up and not even notice it was ever loose.

I admit that the procedure may not be for the faint of heart. Everything went smoothly, and the patient is fully recovered.

It's so silky smooth to the touch. I've purchased stuffing and pillows before to create several things over the years, and nothing felt this soft.

That explains why one person's horse was able to lie on them without flattening them. Sheesh!

Good news is he's doing even better than before now! After getting out all the hard lumps and reclosing him, he's as tall as Buzzy and super full. Originally, I thought Jazwares made this one smaller for no reason, but whatever happened to him before I found him, his stuffing was only really compressed and needed fluffing out. With a solid new zipper stitch, his back closure is invisible now as well.

More like spider mafia, since they're...of The Family. Seriously, though, that's wonderful to go outside and see your spood's progeny everywhere.

The company I worked for tried to pry so they could know where I am. If on a staycation, according to others, they'd start calling the house. Even when for hospital time, they'd tell employees to reschedule, even for heart surgery.
OP, it's none of their goddamn business how you're using your PTO.

A better analogy for what I do would be keeping an abandoned beehive after ensuring there were no living bees inside.

Are you sure it's only the acorns that are throwing you off? Nothing else? Nothing?

If you want to make a story out of it, I tell myself they're both members of the buskers' Black Hat Society of Salem. While their bios may be lacking in individual creativity, I think the idea lends well to their busker concept.

That overexposure shot is a classic! Love the one of your Hadrosaur in the grass.

Thanks for sharing! That one with the top hat is so dapper! Best of the lot right there. The bat one is the first full miss from them I've ever seen, though. Poor thing's infested! It's hard to look at, and I normally enjoy their fun zombie line.

Them name-calling you, calling you a diva is showing their true colours. You explain your diagnosis and they choose to dismiss and treat you as though you're coming from a place of selfishness. That is them being selfish and manipulating, trying to force you into a place of discomfort. And you just said you were already in discomfort.
Not a friend. Stay safe.

We had over ten this year. It was a joy to find one traveling from my bedroom out to the kitchen below. Finding them snacks and offering free honey drinks is part of the fun.

Thank you for writing back about this. I think I have a new inking medium to experiment with! Yours are light-hearted and inspiring

This makes me feel guilty for wanting to head to Home Depot and not just for a lumber purchase.

Congrats on the diagnosis! I know it can be a real fight to find answers on an often very long and frustrating journey.

It's akin to the "surprise Pikachu face" meme for something that shouldn't be a surprise.
"I found a fork in the kitchen!"
"Right, and?"
A more fitting one might be spoon in the spoon drawer.
