True, might not just be genetics, but definitely more complex than just eating healthy and being active enough. It is so much more; hormone levels, sugar intake, proteine intake, what time you eat and how many times a day. Some people thrive on multiple eat/snack moments a day, others thrive when having a clearcut schedule. It is very personal and extremely difficult for some to navigate without professional help in a world where unhealthy diet is heavily promoted and sometimes cheaper than wholefood options.

I love the forum, it is such a cool building overall.

Thank you, reading this makes me think the opposite can also be true. While, off course, activitylevel and eating healthy are obvious factors, I genuinely believe that some people's genetics cause them to more easily be obese. Sometimes it is as easy as eating healthy and working out, but sometimes (maybe more often than we'd think) it's just not that simple.

Like it, not sure about the shoes (kinda love them, kinda don't), LOVE that she has visible eyebrows again.
Edit: typo

When stuff happens that makes you uncertain or panicky or doubtfull ask yourself honestly: what is the worst thing that could happen? Answer it rationally. Helped me be a lot more relaxed about things.

Superrandom but I will never understand re-using your teabag. You are not drinking tea, it is slightly flavoured water at this point. Also: stop leaving them everywhere. The amount of "on hold" teabags on little saucers (or worse: on the paper teabag-wrapper) I have had to clean up after co-workers forgot them is ungodly. Just use the damn thing and throw it out, it is single use.

I love this! They are so sassy! 🤩

Me too! 😄

Haha, I know, right?!?
It's a sort of urban legend. About Brabo, a soldier, who defeated Antigoon (an evil giant blocking the river (Schelde) and asking a lot of money to pass it). This Antigoon would chop off the hand of anybody who could not pay his heavy fines. So when our hero Brabo defeated him, he chopped off the giants hand and threw it over the river.
This is also why Antwerp has hands in it's sigil and why it has a famous cookie shaped like a hand called "Antwerpse handjes".
OrganizedArtichoke
Cool!
This is not Meir square, this is Grote Markt. The statue behind is Brabo, from a legend about Antwerps name. He is throwing a hand. In dutch that is "hand werpen", and that in turn sound a lot like "Antwerpen".
Interesting to see that this particular square hasn't changed a lot in 7 decades!

Haha, true that. Honestly, his autotune version during the credits completely took me out of the mood. Left immediately. 😄

Love this. It's very cool. Giving Aubrey Beardsley in the best way.

Haha, it's funny 'cause it's true...

Thanks, I figured, but nice of you to double-check. 👍 edit: used the dutch word for double 😅

This has to be ragebait, right? I know! As a Belgian person living in the Netherlands: have been eating awfull supermarket bread for years and now just I gave up and pay over 4 euro's for a bakerybread that still doesn't come close to the belgian bread I grew up with. Also: what is with the plastic packaging? How is this in Germany? In Belgium we use waxed paper and it is so much better!

Obviously so much but... A hot water bottle she gave me after a failed relationship in 2011 because I was cold. She died in 2018 and yet this water bottle still keeps me warm at night even when used almost daily. Seems trivial, but it's not.
