Another option would be to get a tent that can be set up with a solid or a mesh interior and switch them out as needed. Big sky international has some options - can be set with mesh and 2 poles for 3-season or solid interior and 3 poles for 4-season performance, I’m sure others too

Hmm can confirm the Hokas (model dependent) have great cushioning, I tried topos and altras before switching but that might be tough on the size as I think they run pretty close to true
