How did you do it? Wake up every morning and hit them early? Naturally happen throughout the day?

I’ll add that at least one pokemon with protect is also very very helpful so maybe Espeon is that pokemon if you don’t want to lean into baton pass

Swampert could complement that well. Bulky, hits hard physically and the calm mind would help its surf (and ice beam if you so choose) hit harder. Electric immunity is very helpful.

I also think Milotic isn’t a bad idea for Baton pass.

Biggest thing is making sure you have a pokemon with some sort of guaranteed hit move though (swift, shock wave, faint attack, aerial Ace, etc). I feel like the biggest cheese I run into is evasiveness strats. Aerial Ace would cover grass and bug, weakness of your first two if you go with espeon and a water type. Maybe find a third that can learn AA and brick break? Or teach Swampert brick break and go with like a Zapdos that can learn shock wave and drill peck? Just some good for thought!

You’ll get downvoted because it’s objectively very good for a playthrough with its coverage, power, and pace, but the design is so disturbing (and racist, dare I go there) that I can’t bring myself to run it either. There’s just so many mons that also sweep and don’t make me feel gross for running them in my party.

Try a pinsir or tauros or Kangaskhan(sp?)! Those safari zone single stage rare encounters go crazy!
