They really need a tracker for each island. It's no fun to hunt like this.

Hey - there's a bluegrass show on Wednesday the 2nd at Vice and Virtue. Chris Baxter is a killer banjo player. I suspect you might find some of the other locals there.
OverTheir
Anybody know if they've added a machine-part tracker?

His vote makes sense given his background and Considering his current role as the Secretary of State for defence Procurement. Past military history, so supporting the military industrial complex probably makes good sense to him.

I'd consider waiting for there to be a few more updates. While the game is a lot of fun, it currently ends rather abruptly with some unfinished business and quests. It's probably worth the $10, but having to pay another $10-$20-$30 while you're waiting for the game to feel complete has been frustrating.

I really think there needs to be a way to track if you've found them all on an island already, I'm having trouble finding one more as well.
OverTheir
I'd say that's generally great news! Hopefully it will pan out!

Anyone familiar with an iOS version that has similar features? Or, if it's easy to port this over?

Studio 108 Pottery at the Rotary Centre and Clayline Pottery both have shelves of work for sale by the potters who...pot there.

That's Windmills! He put out an awesome album recently. Filming some music videos I suspect.

Yeah, honestly not my favourite either, but worth a mention if you want soft serve dipped cones specifically.
OverTheir
Yet to see Chocolats Favoris down by Gyro Beach on this list. They're making some excellent soft-serve and dipped cones, which is a bit harder to come by out here.

A "Living Wage" in Kelowna is $25.95/hour for two parents working full time. It is rather methodically defined and would be bare bones. Which comes out to about $91,000/year.
The living wage calculation is intentionally modest. It does not include: ● Debt payments, such as credit card, student loans or other loan payments. ● Retirement savings. ● Home ownership costs. ● Savings for children’s post-secondary education. ● More than minimal spending on recreation, entertainment or holidays. ● Costs of living with a chronic health condition or disability, or caring for a disabled, seriously ill or elderly family member. ● A substantial buffer for emergencies or other unexpected expenses

It does this for me, too. Massive data hogging app. I've turned off cellular for it as my data plan is limited.

Hey the perfect fit for your friend is probably Solidarity Sundays. They’re a group that prepares and distributes meals in Kelowna. Some folks donate money, others donate time/labour to make the foods, some people hand deliver it. They’re awesome! They’re on Instagram as solidarity.sundays - I’ve attached a link below to their patreon page that explains what they’re about.

Use a U-Lock over there, I've had a few coworkers with cheaper cable locks that have been snipped, even in the bike lockups.

I might give Dilworth Mountain Park a go - it's got sweeping views of the city and lake.

Oh boy, I just came across the perfect list for you hah! Put together by some local musicians and superfans! Open mics Kelowna spring/winter 2026.
For what it's worth, I think the ones at Freddy's and Buffalo Rouge have great open mic communities and performers.

I'd check out Bring the Noise Music Academy!

Could look at rad oncology nursing / surgical oncology nursing roles too. As far as I can tell, the nurses I've worked with are usually getting those certifications once hired by bc cancer. It's a pretty long training process.

Everest on the west side is fantastic.
They have a long running promo for $1 off beers forever if you get the tattoo at Nest Fest.
