Skosh does a great burger and fries. Pacific sourdough is delicious but be prepared to wait in line.

That would be fine in my field (which leans very casual/informal) but I think it really depends on your field and culture.

Brand new items for $8-11 each are either going to be Shein or Shein equivalent in terms of quality and provenance.

The other alternative is to wear the clothes you like in your regular life. Put on a cute dress to study at the library! Pull out the sequin pants for a trip to the grocery store! As long as it's not a wedding, funeral, job interview, etc, there are no rules on what you can wear.

Clothing swaps, buy nothing groups, and thrift stores should all be low or no cost, though not necessarily easy (cheap, easy, and nice quality tends to be a "pick two" kind of situation).

I have a Stuart Weitzman pair I like.

Presumably because they like it.

I agree. I never participate in shows but it seems like she was having a good time and doing her thing. Who cares if it's wacky?

They look like a hiking-inspired boot, similar to these timberlands

I love all of these!

Statistically, both men and women are about equally lonely so a better question might be why a universal human issue is only framed around men.

I love this!

Groceries are more expensive at least partly due to corporate profiteering.
"Large grocery store chains exploited product shortages during the pandemic by raising prices significantly more than needed to cover their added costs and they continue to reap excessive profits, according to a Federal Trade Commission report."

I don't think it's helpful to be snarky towards the OP for posting about this teacher more than once.

At least where I work, if you didn't pay dues, you belong to the bargaining unit (ie you are covered by the collective bargaining agreement), but you are not part of the union (ie you don't get any input into the collective bargaining agreement).
Edit: you belong to the BU if you're an eligible non-supervisory FTE, which is nearly everyone who is not a manager.

I was just thinking this while album has a similar vibe

I think the actual board membership was confirmed this session. You can watch their testimony at the end of the stream here: https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/mediaplayer/?clientID=4879615486&eventID=2024021088

I don't disagree that our leaders could do more, but I believe the Universal Health Plan Governance Board was just confirmed this legislative session. The board will create a publicly funded single payer universal health plan for Oregon.
This site has more info, including a timeline: https://www.hcao.org/uhp-governance-board

If it's a crazy good deal, it's definitely not hand-made and could be a scam.

Beautiful!

Me too. I've been calling my reps about it and I hope other people are also.
I kind of get this - I've definitely seen items that are still for sale on the regular website (often with free shipping/returns) for less than what resellers are asking. I'd generally rather give my money to a reseller than a corporation, but I don't really get why they think someone would pay more than retail for an item with expensive shipping and not be able to return it.
