In XCOM games we have a saying: if you lost the map because of 5% then you failed way earlier. THis does not apply here. 5% genuinely will fuck you over when Pwie hits like a truck if he wins.

Like FFS you give us TANK IDs and then never fucking makes using them satisfying. Sure we can tank some unbreakables but then the status effect goes crazy. But then tanking is useless when boss goes AOE and hits the squishy targets anyway so you are pretty much forced to bring healing EGOs no matter what. Where is the nuance when the same strat since S1 is still mandatory????

It could be a legit strat to send tanks to clash the worst skills so even if they lose they can take it.

Also either set all sinners at 45 SP or let people fight some fodder to get SP after CHaplain. Fucker killed half of my team, the starting squad mainly, and only Mersault was at 45 SP for Pwie.
You know how much easier it is when you start at 45 instead of 0? Pwie starts at max, why cant I? Oh I wasnt supposed to die to chaplain at all? you guys made chain battles a thing.

Lastly. I cant believe I actually have to say it but: is it really out of PMs power to have HARD and NORMAL modes? Let the casuals clear story easily and experience great writing. Let the people who want challenge play HARD, that is the current version of Pwie.

Why not have some option: you beat the Chaplain and if you want you can rig the game in your favor leading to easier Pwie segment. But you dont have to and you can fight full power Pwie.

I refuse to believe it cant be coded. Just have 2 versions of the boss. A and B.
if player uses chaplain item -> play Boss B
If player doesnt use the item -> play Boss A

As with Lei Heng, my wish was to see KJH play the boss with 0 SP sinners to show how he would tackle it. That's it. Though I have a feeling WinRate this time around would have led to stream full of resets.

Also, when you look at provided stats you notice that only around 8% of players who played the canto did not beat Pwie.
That does not mean it was a good boss. You can still beat a difficult enemy but difficult =/= fun

Im one of the players who did beat Pwie first try but I had close to no fun there. It was the feeling of "holy fucking Ayin we did it fuck you PM, fuck you KJH, I am never replaying this piece of shit"
There are bosses in games that are so difficult but FAIR and its a joy to learn their patterns, to break down their mechanics and figh them 12, 20, fucken 50 times and have fun with them still.
Watcher of the Abyss was that for me in DS3. When I found out they will miss the first attack on you if you use their unique salute I was giggling. When I figured out they will help you fight I was giggling. Sure I got a bit annoyed after dying but I never felt the game treated me unfairly.

Both Pwie and Lei Heng needed adjustments. I will never, never ever, feel good if I win the clash and then eat so much dmg it will almost one shot my tanks. Im glad we have the "deal -80% dmg and cant stagger" but why not make it 90%? 95%? The idea is to show animations. Cool. But the boss lost. Fucking. Lost.
When you stagger Vergil in DMC5 you have your limited opportunity to combo him. He will eventually snap out and punish you if you overstay your welcome or just jump away but he doesnt just say "oh you got me, actually fuck you im not actually staggered eat this -80% dmg that still takes half your HP away"

Story mode should be fun. Even if its a bit easier than PM would like, fun should be priority. But some people can only have fun in extreme difficulties.
Again. Just give people normal and hard mode. Let both parties enjoy the story the way they want. Casuals can clear easily and enjoy cutscenes. Hardcores can sweat and come up with silly strats.

Now I do realize we have just gotten Luxuria. People who doubted its power should see Wingbeat doing 2k - 4k dmg or Lei Heng getting 1 turned with Sanguine Desire.
What im saying is this power will trivialize the game but it doesnt mean you should keep up making unfun bosses. Make it a challenge. Make it fun to overcome. Not a chore.

Also games should do what DMC does more when it comes to parry. It shouldnt be a button that gives you 10 min of reaction time. It should be auto parry if you attack just as enemy is attacking. Because that takes skill and practice. Not just auto parry in every direction with 1 button. You gotta pay attention who is attacking you and how fast will they hit you.

Look, I absolutely ADORE RDR2. I think its the BEST game Rockstar has ever made. GTA doesnt appeal to me the same way. But I have a soft spot for San Andreas and GTA 4. CJ and Nico are my favorite protags.
In like 5 or 6 years when GTA 6 releases on PC and goes on some deep sale, I will probably pick it up. Assuming my 3070 will run it smoothly. Other than that you guys can have fun with this one.

I have a pal with 9 in kindling. He literally shits out all ingots in seconds.... if someone lets him get to furnace.
See there is this bitchass Reptyro who only has 6 in kindling. And he keeps taking the other pal's job.
Like I know I can set who gets to kindle but the issue is I want both of them to work a bit of mining, occasionally cook and then focus primarly on furnace work.
Like, Is there an option to set Pals priorities? I played a game called Bellwright and you could set your peasants to have priorities and they woukld first try to do the task with the highest one and if no work available there they would go down the list to do other stuff.

And its not just the Reptyro. Majex also likes to take the furnace with her yee yee ass 4 kindling.
I am busy with expeditions and dungeon crawling and legendary boss hunting. I hate to come back and see 4 Pal metal ingots ready when there should have been 30 done.

And then my 9 kindling Pal can finish them fast and if I set him up to the furnace then he will just sit down and fart all day while Im away. Cause he's also has 7 in mining and its not efficient to just sit there and do nothing.

So yeah I have been running back and forth between my travels whenever I get a notification that the pal finished cooking and I have to set him back to mining again.

I guess I could have only one kindling pal specialist.

But I heard I will be soon able to make a giga furnace that can be used by 4 pals at once so I guess that should be working fine, ye? no more hogging the furnace if there's place for 4.
