That black part and the braking surface section are all a single piece, the brake rotor. It slips over the wheel studs and hub when the brake caliper is removed. That center circle with big nut in the middle is the hub. I'm betting there's a ring (possibly plastic) that goes around that hub so the winter wheel seats correctly.

So homeowners have to spend thousands on new lawn equipment?
PabloX68
please don't

First, I don't think the 2022 is a great deal. I got this 2023 Speed Twin 1200 last year, with 1400 miles, for $7900. The previous owner had it painted, added Vertex headers and Cone slip ons, Bitubo rear shocks and a few other things. So, I think you can do better.

I haven't ridden a 2025 or later so I can't speak to the suspension on those, but on mine, I'd like to upgrade the fork with Nitron cartridges and maybe better rear shocks also.
The Arton Works gauge face covers look good, but they kind of suck functionally. You won't be able to see the warning lights in any sort of sun. I put them on mine and then reverted back to stock after a few weeks. Ask if the current owner has the stock faces.

Did you vote for trump too?
PabloX68
or tell me you lack a sense of sarcasm.
PabloX68
Hopefully it's still not true and that's confirmed next week.
PabloX68
You're right. Trump isn't in the Epstein files at all and his administration hasn't done everything they could to bury them.
So you voted for trump I take it.
PabloX68
This isn't infuriating. It's pleasing because it works well.
PabloX68
You didn't acknowledge the context because you didn't acknowledge the difference between republicans now and republicans then. If you think they're the same, you're ignorant.
You're also making a ridiculous effort to separate party from policy. That's not how it works, or at least didn't work then. Policy balance is part of the reason for not wanting a single party state. So is corruption and yes, MA had some corruption problems.
I already explained why I'm not voting for Minogue. That goes back to your ignorance of what republicans were like then vs. now.
It's pretty clear you never took a civics class.
PabloX68
I said he's a pedo supporter. I didn't say he's a pedo. Do you think Trump isn't a pedo?
And yeah, sure, a religious person will put god first. I want a politician that puts the good of the country first, not some fiction.
PabloX68
Btw, at that time MA had 3 or 4 Speakers indicted for corruption in a row.
PabloX68
It’s also pretty stupid to ignore the context of the time and candidates I mentioned. Republicans then weren’t the republicans now. Those particular candidates were nothing like Minogue and yes, it was a policy consideration.
Like I said, it was the before times when balancing parties was about policy.
You’re the one who said there’s nothing wrong with a single party state, which id dumb.
PabloX68
I actually did give an example and you ignored it. MA gun laws. I’d also point to the $1.5B the state spent on housing for migrants.
PabloX68
Obviously I'm using examples at the federal/national level, but single party states have an obviously bad history. If we want to talk about US states, I could point to Texas. It's pretty obvious that a D governor there would be helpful. It could have avoided redistricting which has a national effect.
To be blunt, you're being obtuse. Our two party system (which I'm no fan of) is supposed to balance one set of ideas against another. That doesn't work when there aren't two parties.
The Dems in MA are relatively benign and that's the only reason it hasn't been a bigger problem. I'm also note that I'm pretty liberal, but I think our gun laws in MA suck. That's a result of a single party state.
PabloX68
And what would the solution for the R's becoming fascist, other than a different party holding a branch of government?
PabloX68
At the federal level, do you think it's good that the R's control all 3 branches of government?
PabloX68
Keep in mind that was the before times.
As I said, otherwise MA was a single party state. If we have to have a single party, I'd rather it be D but it's not good regardless.
I voted for Baker because at the time, Patrick left the state with a huge budget deficit. Also, the D candidate was Martha Coakley and she sucked at least as much as Healey.
PabloX68
That's the navigation app, not Carplay.
PabloX68
Yup, terrible UI decision and it's also annoying that when you go to the radio, it doesn't default to presets.
PabloX68
I voted for Weld, Romney and Baker, in large part because MA is a single party state otherwise.
Minogue is a pedophile supporter and lists "faith" as a higher priority than his family or country. Fuck that guy.
PabloX68
This is completely false. Carplay exists so people can compartmentalize their phone from their car. It's not about overriding, it's about differentiation.
PabloX68
I've had Carplay in 4 cars and one motorcycle so far. None of them got buggy.
PabloX68
Actually, at this point there is. Healey's edict when she was AG said you can't take a rifle that's non AWB compliant and make it so after the fact. So if an AR15 is manufactured with a collapsible stock and flash hider, you can't put a fixed stock and pin a comp on it.
If you brought it in like that and altered it in the way you describe, it's now an "assault weapon". Compmag's site addresses this.
https://www.compmag.net/ar-15-compmag-gen-3/
You could go to NH and buy a compliant mini 14 and bring that in.
I think it's bullshit on Healey's part, but it's effectively law now. That said, I don't know what the 2024 law says about this.
Ok dude. I hoped you’re proud of voting for the pedo.
