At the very least, OP should ask around in their company. I haven’t heard of retail intra company transfers, but I don’t work retail either and don’t really know the industry.

Full disclosure, I don’t know Taiwan that well, so my question is genuine. But, according to the article the mayor of Taipei posted that the world knows them as Taiwan, so I gathered they’re not fans of the Chinese Taipei name.
