I bought the same enclosure - it’s not reallly “waterproof” (no seal). It might be OK for your location but I’m taking it mine down next weekend.

On the plus side it will move air out of the box so potentially cooler than sealed.

Edit: looks like you have a seal - did you add that?

The blockchain syncing for days is insane already, now it’s up to weeks. It’s really not worth it…

I have 9 miners and 6 went offline over a 3 day period, all still syncing and have been for a week.

Some would come online and sync up, then go offline for 6 hours and repeat. No earnings, no beacons etc.

Also you can put a miner wherever you want with whatever antenna you want without changing the settings in the app. Lots of miners say default settings of 0m and I think bobcat is 4dbi even though they’re high up with 15dbi antennas.

Signal,direction and lots of other factors. Just because you think you’re higher up doesn’t mean you automatically get more earning than someone within your hex.

No that’s not cheap, and really you can sometimes get away with the cheap cables it’s just the first thing I check.
