I only watch the celeb version so dont know all the twists from other seasons, but am curious has anyone ever turned down the invite to be recruited? I have liked to see, had she turned it down and then told everyone about the offer at breakfast if she could manage to convince them and stay. She had heat either way but at least she could have stayed faithful which was her preference and she likely wouldn't have looked so visibly guilty explaining her presence at breakfast.

My boys are turning 1 next week and lots of my family have sent me money ahead of their birthday and told me to get what they need and right now they dont need anything so of course they will get some gifts but Im very happy to have a bit of extra cash to throw in an investment fund for them. Right now they still get excited when they manage to pull their own socks off so they have absolutely no concept of gifts.

Awh man, Ive never been so happy for an internet stranger. Congratulations darlin' I hope you're doing well 🎊 I had mo-di boys last year after a loss and while it was scary to have a high risk pregnancy, I had sooooo many scans and when I did have some complications it was caught so fast and I was admitted for extra monitoring and I now have 2 fabulous little boys that are about to turn 1 🤯 I wish you a long and uncomfortable but healthy pregnancy 🥰

You can eat unlimited Currywurst while waiting for a train that will inevitably be cancelled...

My twins turn 1 in 3 weeks and they're just the best little buds to have around so even with two Im still like like maybeeee we go again 😂

I also got a house plant as a congratulations on giving birth last year. FTM to preemie twins the absolute last thing I had time for was a fucking plant. 🙄

I was put on leave from 27weeks, in the end it was due to some complications but the week before Id seen my gyno and she offered it to me then and asked me to consider it as I was getting extremely uncomfortable. Id a follow up the next week where I had intended to accept the note but by then things had changed and it wasnt my choice anymore.

I had mine (mo-di) via emergency c section so was out of my hands, but I remember my prenatal specialist (mfm I think its called in the US??) Recommended when I was deciding on a hospital/doctor for giving birth make sure I ask how many twins they deliver on average per year and to choose one that delivers a high percentage so they are very aware and comfortable managing the risks involved. It sounds like maybe your doctor isn't very comfortable with twins so is going witn the more statistically "safe" option.

I use this song in a pathetic attempt to distract them from wiggling while changing nappies so often day "the baby name on the bus goes poop poop poop..., the mamma on the bus has gotta clean you up, clean you up..."

Im the same, I used to be such a big true crime fan - now I get upset thinking my babies could meet these people. 😂
I also changed 5 little ducks so I sing down from 5 but each time "all 5/4/3.. little ducks come waddling back" then the last verse I do " Happy mamma duck went out one day, over the hills with her babies to play. Mamma duck says quack quack quack quack so Mamma and her ducks come waddling back"

Unfortunately, this article isn’t accurate or up to date. It combines research on chronic stress and deprivation, rat trials, not babies and then presents it as proof that CIO is generally harmful. Although it cites the relevant study, it leaves out the findings from randomized trials involving children in loving, stable homes. Those studies followed the children for up to five years and found no evidence of harm to their emotional or behavioural development, stress levels or attachment. The article quite hyperbolic and presents a one sided argument conveniently omitting important evidence from the only directly relevant studies of ordinary families.

I was the first grandchild on one side of my family and apparently and my granny on that side wanted to be called "Gran" but once I started to speak I somewhere picked up "Nanny" and thats what stuck. I never even knew this until I had my own kids and the topic came up and I asked her was she upset gran never stuck, she told me "To be honest, I dont mind what you called me Im just happy you call me". Im sure your mam also wont care in the end so just call her whatever you prefer to your daughter privately and Im sure that will be what she ends up using.

Seeing this and some of your other recent posts I'm sad for you and your daughter. I hope her foster parents are good people.

When are you scheduled to give birth? I guess you dont have long left, if you make it. Don't worry 32 is already great your little bubs will be fine, the NICU doctors are so used to seeing preemies when mine came at 32.4 they weren't worried at all. I was in the hospital from 27 weeks for monitoring though and found sleeping with the bed inclined really helped, im assuming your bed doesn't have that feature but maybe try propping yourself up with pillows if you havent already? Also a belly band really helped take the pressure off the weight of my belly.

I developed HELLP syndrome at 32.4 and had an emergency c section. We had a couple weeks stay in NICU they're 11 months now and as of yesterday just started walking!! So they're doing great.

Same, I go to a lot of twin play groups with my two and I find a lot of mams lean more into the "twin mom experience" instead of really considering the actual twins experience.

The bottle warmers are useful if you're pumping though I used mine a lot to heat breastmilk. Once I stopped and exclusively formula fed I just used a hot/cold water mix as you said.

Congratulations! This is so sweet. I love his little graduation cap 😍 💕

Omg same when people tell me the newborn phase was rough but its only a couple of weeks.. eh our official "newborn" phase only started when they were 2 months, until then we had already been dealing with so many insanely long night feeds because we had to practice boob, then bottle then end up tube feeding anyway, finally feeding time is done and now Ive to go pump.. 😴😴 maan Im tired just remembering
Pathetic-Fallacy
True I missed that first time. Toddlers are even more chaotic during the awake time though and need a lot more hands on chasing around the house. (In my experience) so nap time is still me time lol
Also in relation to baby naps, my twins are almost 8 months and nap on fairly predictable schedule during the day. Although it is true a lot of babies will just sleep whenever. We did some sleep training though imo this was necessary with two, I would never survive if they didn't nap at the same time and I had no break.
Pathetic-Fallacy
I think a lot of people replying/ down voting here dont actually have twins. The struggle is real girl do what you gotta do to survive 😂
Pathetic-Fallacy
This is such terrible and not realistic advice unless you have help. I was only discussing this with moms at a play group recently and everyone agreed the people saying this have clearly forgotten the reality of having babies. They need soo much attention especially twins. So when mine sleep I very rarely would also nap. This is my time for brushing ny teeth, showering, eating, cleaning the house, finally texting that friend who reached out last month back or just sitting down in a quiet room and enjoying the silence for a few minutes. Napping is not a priority.

Once I've decided to give someone cash it becomes theirs, and what they do with it is none of my business.
Also pretty sure money Ive put in birthday cards for mates has been spent on drugs and alcohol on some occasions but noone ever concerns themselves with how that money is spent.
Mine are still in the stroller but if they are runners then absolutely yes. Id rather deal with a few judgmental looks than deal with a police search for a missing child, or worse.
