I get thin sliced chicken breasts and bake them one night a week, makes a good dinner that night and then good sandwich proteins for the next few days

A documentary on this exact subject just came out

If you had unflavored sparkling water and thought it tasted horrible, you may be in too deep. If you've only had flavored canned sparkling then I recommend you try a plain unflavored one like the big green bottle of San Pelligrino. The flavors in those cans are like mineral salts so they can taste funny. But good unflavored water can taste great imo.
I was a major soda addict and I managed to kick it with a Soda Stream, bc turns out a lot of what I liked about soda was just very carbonated water. Carbonating at home is so much more economical that now I have as much as I want. And it's just plain water so now I drink way more water. I add slices of lime and other fruits as flavors sometimes too.

You can't cfw a super slim, you have to hfw it and it's not as good as cfw. Highly recommend going with an earlier v1 slim that can do cfw instead. It's a lot more stable.

I always do, rice can be pretty dirty. I put it in a big bowl and fill with water, slosh it around and pour out the excess water. Repeat a couple times til water is clear.

I love sparkle water but those aren't my favs either. La Croix Hibiscus is my absolute favorite, it reminds me of Flintstones Push Pops for some reason. I also like the Trader Joes kiwi and clementine sparkle water cans. Honestly they are probably all going to be underwhelming to a palate that is used to soda all day every day though. That's gonna take some time to adjust away from.
I got a Soda Stream several months ago and it's been a game changer. A lot of the flavor of carbonized drinks is the carbon, turns out. I don't really miss the flavors from the canned waters. Sometimes I add slices of lime or fruits to my drinks, or maybe some of the cola syrup, but generally I just drink the water straight. No weird extra flavoring just the nice crispness of pure sparkle water. It's a bit expensive up front but the $20 charge canister lasts me a lot longer than 4x $5 boxes of cans. I think it has paid off itself by now.
I am still a cola junkie but what I like most about the stream is that I can make myself one half cup of cherry pepsi to scratch the itch, then I make myself multiple cups of sparkle water. Not as healthy as no soda at all, but going cold turkey is difficult to stick with.

Sound isn't great up there, pretty boomy in the upper half of the balcony, but the view is clear. They're among the best cheap tickets at the Midland.

Ah yeah record store day. The opening rush Saturday is always nuts, people going crazy for the exclusives. If you aren't so caught up in getting a certain release, going a couple hours after opening is a much chiller experience. Anyways here's my breakdown:
Mills gets the most stuff, but they are also the craziest. Joseys is just behind them.
Gigantic Records is kinda under the radar, might check there out. So is Sister Anne's. Not as many exclusives but they'll have some no doubt.
Love Garden is amazing and worth the drive. Best store in the region imo. They get the most stuff & have the best system.
Brothers, GotWhatULike, and Wound For Sound are smaller so they don't get as many exclusives, but they are also very chill and further out in the burbs so will be less crowded.
The shops should be running inventory tonight and tomorrow and most of them usually post what they got and how much. This can help you decide where to go if you want a certain thing.
Finally, if you can't find something, don't freak out and pay crazy scalper prices. Don't feed the scalpers! A lot of RSD stock doesn't actually sell that well and gets posted online at list the next day. Remember that the day is supposed to be a celebration of record store culture and not a feeding frenzy for artificial scarcity releases. Good luck have fun!

It can be pretty empty unless you specifically seek out other players. Because of the risk of piracy/ganking, a lot of people play in Solo.
I first found some folks to play with watching Twitch streamers, then I got into other squads and stuff and am currently on Distant Worlds 3 expedition which has been fun exploring deep space with other folks. You might consider joining a big squad or Fleetcomm or another community. It can be really fun

Yea, y2k is like 1997-2002. The new millennium had a lot of hype building in the late 90s and then 9/11 largely killed it

Best way to be prepared is make sure you can get notified if Jackson county is placed in a Tornado Watch, and especially a Tornado Warning. We aren't in a Tornado Watch, so there is very low chance of one in KC tonight. Tornados are pretty rare in KC and even then they are small.
However we are entering storm season so it's good to have an emergency plan for the coming months. Without a basement, I recommend identifying the most interior part of your house, and making sure it's clear and safe.

Really depends on what exactly you mean by some furniture. If you have a lot of nice vintage pieces like trendy mid century modern then maybe. But for most cases I can't see it being worth selling furniture at Brass Armadillo with rent, commission, and time spent loading and staging. Whereas selling on fb marketplace has zero rent, no commission, and buyer picks up.

Boomerang in Westport hada bunch of jackets and coats last time I was there. There's also a big good vintage boutique at the top of River Market Antiques. I got a good jacket there last year

Coveralls, thermal long johns, multiple pairs of gloves that work with a smart phone. Electric blanket or two. Some kind of backup battery device for when the power goes out. A real metal snow shovel. Gallon of ice melt. Wool socks & house slippers. You probably already have good boots.
And something fun to keep you occupied inside. January here is pretty damn bleak and there's little going on around town.

Passes the basic tests, if it isn't legit it's at least an early copy. But the only way to be sure is find an exact match of the matrix code to a known legitimate pressing on Discogs. Identifying it gets pretty technical from here.
If you post the matrix code here, somebody may check Discogs for you. Matrix code is the numbers and letters in the run-out groove on the record if you didn't know
Looks great, excellent use of the long composition. You could probably saturate them a little more but how they are right now works for the end of the season kind of look. Very strong start, keep shooting
