When my Behringer UMC 404HD ran out of inputs because of synths and guitar, I got myself an XAir18. It'll have to do until I get crazy enough to put a WING Rack on my desk.

I also have one of those MIDI quad things. Because Poly 61 and Volca don't have MIDI out or thru.

Ist wie bei fettarmen Streichfett, oder?!

PerspectiveFair5156

Enthält Kakao Sand?

Enthält Kokos Wasser?

Ist schon anders.

PerspectiveFair5156

Right polarity? Same voltage? Enough power?

PerspectiveFair5156

You're still doing it wrong.

I loved that thing with the lead guitarist in my first band...1993.

PerspectiveFair5156

Started in 1990. Was 12 by then, a bit late.

PerspectiveFair5156

But....but ... I AM old.

PerspectiveFair5156

Hm. My first amp was a Peavey, I own a Peavey and I don't love or hate this brand. 🤷🏼‍♂️

PerspectiveFair5156

I really like the Tone Wicker.

PerspectiveFair5156

For what budget?

50€ or 1000$?

PerspectiveFair5156

That's exactly the type of person I don't want to have anything to do with.

First step might be putting the phone away and getting to it.

It's going to be hundreds of hours of practice to get anywhere.

So you better start now.

PerspectiveFair5156

Habe you tried free video lessons?

PerspectiveFair5156

US took the first step into that scary direction in 1971, with the Powell Memo.

PerspectiveFair5156

Thanks, I probably won't.

Not every sport is physical, and not everything physical is sport.

Believe me, my job is very physical and anyone who calls me a professional athlete is insane. 😉

Get an instrument or vocal lessons.

PerspectiveFair5156

Practice everything but power chords. Then practice some more. Play along to recordings and metronome.

PerspectiveFair5156

Yeah, silly comment on a silly post. Fitting, in my opinion.

This weekend I was playing a chord sequence. It might be a verse or a chorus, it's in A minor.

I found something that sounds great after it, it's in E minor.

Now I want to get back to A minor and theory told me the V7 of A minor might lead the way there nicely. So I put E major on the final half measure of the E minor bit, it sounds great.

That's how I use theory. I let it suggest things that might sound great and either use or discard those.

In general it's "f@€& theory until you need help from it" for me.

Renaming time signatures is

Wastof Time.

Learn songs note by note or don't learn how other bass players play bass.

It's easier and more satisfying to develop your own style if you adapt others' ways of playing.

Ist die JU Berlin jetzt eine verfassungsfeindliche Organisation?

PerspectiveFair5156

War auch nicht ansatzweise ernst gemeint.

Ich bin ganz gut im Kurven gehen und rege mich da auch nicht auf.
