Try to get out of the way in general, but really DO try it if there's a siren blaring, because one mostly means urgency while the other mostly means EMERGENCY. And while urgency tends to mean "will die in a few hours if not attended to", emergency tends to mean ""will die if a couple minutes if something rather drastic is not done".

To those who went through triage: this is the basic difference between emergency and urgency, not that every place follows the same idea.
