Check the lighting. If he was going down, he would be falling face first.

Pezz570

thanks!

Pezz570

I agree. A new perspective would be refreshing.

Pezz570

That does make for better reveals and story telling

Pezz570

Basically I read it as you saying "We can still have the characters not know the world isn't real", rather than a philosophical statement about what is real and what is not

Pezz570

Aaaaahhh I'm tracking now. :) Misunderstood what you were going for there.

Pezz570

I was referencing your idea that the Characters could know there is a creator, the writer of the story, but still think their world is real. In that context they wouldn't know their world isn't real.

I think the idea of a first draft is a neat one! I like how it ties back into the writing process. Very neat idea! Each cycle could be a new draft.

Pezz570

The made up world that the new characters live in??? Sorry, not entirely sure where the point of confusion is.

Pezz570

That is very true! they can know about the writer and about their fate but still not know the world isn't real. We would know but not them.

Pezz570

Personally, I would like to keep things mysterious about what is going on in the real world. Maybe some bread crumbs here and there for us to piece together, but I would like a different perspective. If they make it a prequel that's fine too. The idea of focusing on the writer's guild can still work for that.

I do recall them talking about making it an anthology series. So I imagine they are either just going to start fresh with something completely new, or build upon some of the bread crumbs they threw at us for the game's "real world" but put us in a brand new setting. Clea and the talk about the writer's guild just felt like sequel or prequel bait to me.

I’ve been wondering if the horse and Rider pair’s master is the government fellow that they mentioned

Pezz570

Or for that matter, give orders to other people’s demons. Since break can stop orders.

Pezz570

Yeah, it was also something I was trying to articulate in my second response. :) That theme is kind of just started going, but I’d be interested to see where it goes. But I imagine that’s gonna be the ultimate goal.

Pezz570

Your input is valid. I won’t deny that. :) this is only a nitpick of mine. Other than that, I would say the story is great.

But Yeah, if I were to have gotten more detailed in my previous response, I would’ve said there are a couple things driving the story, such as the one you mentioned, but I haven’t felt any of them as strongly as FMAB’s get our bodies back objective.

I would say looking for their parents has been put out there a couple times and it’s probably a primary driver. Also Them trying to live their own lives has been kind of a theme of the show too here and there. And now there’s the latest conflict in the series that I’m not gonna go in too much details due to spoilers. But haven’t felt any hard driver other then that, which as you said could very well, be just a me thing

Pezz570

It’s a good read. My only criticism is It is missing some direction that FMAB had. That series started with a goal. They were trying to get their bodies back.

This series is over 50 chapters in and I’m still trying to put my finger on what their ultimate goal is. don’t get me wrong. I absolutely enjoyed the series, it’s just I’m trying to figure out where the story is going, and I’m not quite able to do that right now.

Pezz570

The third legendary should represent earthquakes. As that’s another form of waves, but on land.

Pezz570

what sort of weird hoops?

Pezz570

It really is a shame the books didn’t follow the show. If the author was serious about those books he would’ve ended at three not 14!

Sigh… still hurts…..

Pezz570

Allow me to introduce you to the path of pain from Hollow Knight lol. Honestly, though I think I found this part more frustrating than the path of pain.

Pezz570

Well then, my work here is complete.

Pezz570

Don’t listen to me. It appears I don’t know what I’m talking about lol
