I think there are members of this sub that are approaching having 15 VTTs that they themselves have created. Certainly not universal ones though.

What’s wrong with this player fighting 6 mooks while the rest of the party focuses on one?

The enemies sees this guy is such a threat that they focus him.

Would you be interested in building virtual board games? With a JavaScript engine?

PhrulerApp

Yeah starting out the weaker models are fine but after almost a year of development, the codebase slowly becomes harder and harder for smaller models.

What works for you right now likely won’t once your vtt is more mature and the dependencies. A lot of the overengineered options that opus opts for does help keep the codebase more future proof.

Are you using Unity for your platform?

PhrulerApp

what tools did you use to make this video?

it looks really nice :D

I don’t actually think Sonnet is good enough for a lot of my uses. Even opus on medium misses a lot of stuff sometimes. I could imaging weaker models managing fine on more established flows that popular engines like Unity provides but Phroller is a really advanced piece of software 😅

I cold see myself using smaller models occasionally with a bash/python script or two but I often would just use muse or Gemini for that

Embrace the failures!

Focus on working out a fun narrative around your failures. Stay in character. Come up with a good story!

First advice. When you say you have questions, actually ask the questions.

So far this sounds more like an introduction.

Thanks!

This is my app! It’s mobile native for best performance

PhrulerApp

Wtf, you can't just drop that you have a build you own machine engine and not show us a mech.

A good friend of mine got into country line dancing and now her main friend group are people she met there. Lots of cool people in that circle. I've gone with them a few times and had a blast every time.

I'm more the TTRPG/boardgame person and i recommend checking out meetups for that too! Friendly people all around. San Diego Roleplaying Association is the group I roll with mostly.

On Wednesdays there's also a weekly art meetup at Tea N More that I occasionally hit us as well.

Congrats on the release!

Do you do low poly exports of your towns? If so I would love to have a Cutout Village collab in Phroller. Maybe we can even run a bundle at some point :D
