Personally, I've never felt the need to skip. I'm not the most patient person in general, but turn-based gaming is already not designed for instant gratification, so why rush it? Based on most of the responses here, I'm glad I found a group of players who feel the same way, and are generally a more patient bunch.

I think the bigger problem is that this has apparently been shared with (the royal) them in the past, and wasn't until it hit critical mass here that there was any response. Trust that's taken years to build can vanish in an instant 😞
