I used door dash to have a pizza delivered the other day. I ordered a pizza  and a bottle of coke. Driver shows up 30 minutes later, with a warm bottle of coke. He didn’t understand that I also had ordered a pizza. He didn’t speak English and used a translation app to tell me that was all I ordered.

After an awkward exchange, in which I show him the line item for pizza on his app… he accepts that he needs to go back… another 20 minutes and he drops a cold pizza on my porch and doesn’t bother to ring the doorbell or even knock to let me know.

Back when you ordered from a pizza shop employee, the employee would not fail to understand that you want a pizza…

Definitely try different outputs or mess around with the output… just last night I plugged in some headphones to my setup and got a similar sound that was a phase issue (l and r signals cancelling each other out except at the tail end of the signal) caused by a bad headphone connector. Could be that? Or time to get a new one

I hate that the advice we end with is “get your own surveillance systems to monitor yourself.” So… the government is forcing mass surveillance systems on us against our will, using our tax dollars. And the solution is to spend our own money adding additional layers of self surveillance, granting access to and paying some of the same big tech companies that benefit from government surveillance programs . In the end we have multiple layers of surveillance on every citizen, at the expense of citizens, to the benefit of companies that are in bed with the government.
