It sure isn't! I think last month we spent twice as much feeding them as the 3 to 4 humans in the house, LOL! But it's a labor of love and at least there are multiple working adults to contribute!

VERY by accident. We moved to our current neighborhood in 2021 and there was a very unmanaged feral colony; we started working to trap, neuter, return, but amid that some litters of kittens were born and, once they were weaned, we pulled them in to socialize them and find homes for them. But, we didn't know that our area has a HUGE cat overpopulation issue, and so when we didn't get them new homes as tiny kittens, they quickly became "not the hot thing" since you can basically always get free kittens around here and most people want them more. After several go-arounds of this, we thankfully have managed to find at least a handful new homes and get all the ferals neutered, but then a neighbor moved out and abandoned two who we ended up taking in... and so the beat goes on... LOL. It's basically like living in a cat rescue, but thankfully housing is cheap per square foot out here in the desert so at least we have a lot of space indoors for them!

Ahh, that's so cool! Thanks to you and Heck for doing such a fun offer. I love a tuxedo. We have gray and white one currently but for many years had the goofiest large black-and-white tuxie named Titan, who was a truly special individual. From a pop culture standpoint, I've always had a soft spot for Garfield, but seasonally appropriate Binx from Hocus Pocus and Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch are also tops on the list! (I'd also be thrilled to send you a cat card in exchange, I know I have some tuxes in there somewhere!)

As far as a question or advice from Heck, does she have any ideas on how to monetize the 25 cats currently in my house so that they stop attempting to eat me out of house and home? LOL! We work the deals like crazy, and can't seem to get prices much lower, so it seems like the only answer is putting some of these little freeloaders to work. Do cats make good accountants? Maybe Heck has an "in" for a program that trains cats to be, like, radiologists? Is there some kind of OnlyMeows I can pimp them out on? Inquiring minds want to know!

Well, of course you might guess I'd be all about this! The best-ever black cat we had was Mr. Bill. He was my mom's kitty until she passed away in 2019, and then my son gamely took over being Bill's "person" for the next two years until he went to meet Mom over the rainbow bridge. I think her lap missed him. After Mom passed, my son would show Mr. Bill her picture each night before bed, and Mr. Bill would give it a little head butt, just like he used to do to her! He was just the most amazing boy and we were so lucky to have him!

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you are in a position to get him to take the inhalers, that is something I have done for a cat at a point in the past and it was quite an experience! Haha, that sounds closer to Stubby than Merc! They are littermate siblings (along with Venus, who is an orange boy). Stubs is SUPER muscular but Mercury is actually one of the closest things we have to a "normal sized cat," amazingly! I do love the amber eyes on a void kitty; my mom's pride and joy was Mr. Bill, who also had those. We also had one for a while named Huggles who had the most amazing green eyes, which I understand is less common, and it was so cool. He was a tripod himself!
