They come from a philosophy of futurism but they clearly all warn about the same things every time that they have a new model about to come out. That is partially just marketing and that is the job of every CEO. They might believe these ideas might come further down the line but its not every time they release a new model. Overexaggerated promises have always helped pump stocks and recently its the key to the most valued stocks around. They can't make the token economics work and their companies are always a year or two from going under, they need hype for hundreds of billions of investment money to flow in and save them again and again. Musk is the champion of this, he has people in robot suits or robots controlled via VR, pretending its the real deal, coming in millions soonish. We are having a satellite catapult on the moon, datacenters in space, lets not mention the hundreds of launches requiered by a rocket model that has had to downgraded capacity several times and still keeps exploding. Hyperloop was literally just a 100 year old scam reused, no one serious could explain how maintaing a vacuum at distances would work in practice, certainly not Musk, he collected his billions and we got Teslas driving slowly for very short distances. Teslas robotaxies about to conquer the world is also a lot of smoke and mirrors. The most profitable part of tech right now is selling sci fi stories coming tomorrow and when tomorrow comes its the next day, next quarter or next year.

MJ had a world class PR team handling it when the story first broke, they were planting articles in all kinds of media everywhere. He had a ton of unfluence among other celebrities and many came to his aid.

Don't do a lot of coke would be sound advice. I doubt there was much empathy or warmth ever present in QT but also being so knowledgeable of films and having so much success has fueled his arrogance. He thinks he knows better than basically anyone when it comes to film.

He was great at taking credits for other peoples work. Just stepping in front of everyone who did the job and just claiming you did it until eventually it stuck.

A lot of other things are 2-3 times the recommended daily dose and some people drink quite a few cans a day.
If you run a campaign against it someone is cheating clearly, more than usual that is, so that story is starting to come along.
