Look into myelination, that really helped me build habits, because I knew that whenever I messed up it was because there wasn't enough repetition yet to get it to stick, and that it was just a matter of trying more to build up the needed muscle memory. I still break them all the time, but I make sure that I get back on the next day, and it works pretty well for me.

Edit: I should add that I'm still in burnout which is why they continue to break so much. I assume it will be easier once I get out of the situation causing burnout, but that's a long way off.
