No he’s terrible. The only reason he’s doing “ good “is because we are having to use a 6th lineman and two TE sets on his side to block. It’s embarrassing.
PittEngineer
The line is one of the worst. The pocket isn’t ever clean. It’s been an atrocity for 6+ years.

Tomlin was maybe the best supreme allied commander. When he had his generals of Arians and LeBeau, he got them what they needed and asked for, and worked strategy with them, then unleashed their hounds. Since replacing with his guys, literally everyone on the team gets worse year after year, and no one gets better. Partly Rooney’s fault because he won’t pay coaches/staff not named Tomlin anything (bottom 3 staff/coaching salary in the NFL), and has 20% less coaches and staff than the rest of the leagues average staffing headcount. It’s the Bob Nutting strategy.

Go to college in your own state and have your parents help you buy a house after graduation instead of blowing it on out of state tuition. Out of state college tuition is a scam.
PittEngineer
He threw into double coverage because no one was getting open against a d3 level secondary because our offense and defense wouldn’t pass muster at Pine Richland let alone the NFL. Rooney pays scraps for coaches/staff like Bobby next door.

Maybe it’s not the QB but the play calling once real play starts. Tomlin goes ultra conservative and is unwilling to let them actually play. It’s been that way since Ben was here and he had 7 come from behind wins his final season, usually with 5min or less left where he was audibling and making more decisions that weren’t dictated to him. Also explains why Pickett suddenly threw across the middle and over 10 yard attempts in the waning minutes of halves. Either they were going to turn it over going into the half, or trying to come back and win, either way it was safe in Tomlin’s eyes to let them play.

I figured it out! He rides a train everywhere with his friend. His friend wears it exactly the same way. This way, when the bandits come to rob the train of the bank deposit and ride off on horseback with money bags, they can both lean in and draw the other’s gun and start blas…yeah I have no idea.

Love how much backspace to delete stuff you realized you shouldn’t send and the keys for, “Per my last email,” are well worn.

20% lower salary and one of the lowest staff salaries, I notice you chose to ignore that completely. They annually have a bottom of the league headcount for coaches and staff. And they pay less than other teams. With the exception of Ol Mikey’s salary which is a top 5 league salary, if not top 3, and you can guarantee that he has contract bonuses for keeping costs down. https://steelersdepot.com/2022/03/study-do-the-steelers-really-have-the-nfls-smallest-coaching-staff/

Dotson played guard here. He played guard after Tomlin hated him for some reason and it was clear both of them wanted him out of town. What you are ignoring on the OL, is guys who started out great, and went down hill. We had over 12 different OL starters in 3 years. That’s a lack of coaching ability. Coaches across the league have to use ham and eggers when their starters go down, and they don’t magically have the entire line fall apart. Good players elsewhere don’t suddenly decline to no longer being NFL talent in their early and mid 20s. It’s terrible coaching. Why does Tomlin choose a lower coaching salary? It’s economics,”Rooney: Mike, your entire coaching budget is 20 mil including your salary. Hire whoever you want.” Tomlin: well obviously, I want my bag, I’ll take that first, now let’s see, I’m the HC, but I was a DC, I can do that too and save some money! Austin my man, here take a low salary, everyone knows you arent qualified. Canada! I know you have my undeserving boy a full ride to Maryland, but best I can do this year is QB coach. Don’t worry I’ll get you up to OC in a year, I’ll give you a Pitt QB too just like the ONLY year you ever succeeded in your entire collegiate career! take a low salary too!” Tomlin keeps the salary low, so he can get paid more lol, it’s the same thing every company ever does with their employees, the boss gets the big bonus, the guys doing the work get pizza parties and low salaries.
PittEngineer
The picks, aren’t the problem. 20% less coaches/staff than the rest of the league. A bottom 5 salary for coaches/staff despite Tomlin being a top 5 paid coach. Dotson excelled when he left and has graded as one of the better guards in the league, green was able to be a much better player after leaving, not saying his career will ever have a comeback but he’s better now than here. Tomlin disliked Dotson, it wasn’t a talent issue. Then you have okorafor, went from being dominant, to garbage. Jones from a can’t miss, to garbage. Then look at Canada, never qualified for the nfl, but he made him a QB coach and then an OC, with no rationale behind the decision. Then you have his insistence on starting Artie burns nearly every game he was here, and Sean Davis, Jarvis jones, Devin bush, bugs, his love of Edward’s despite him being mediocre. It’s all Tomlin and his coaching on the cheap, along with his ego. It’s constantly hamstringing this franchise, and the owner is okay with it because it puts more dollars in his pocket. Heck they didn’t even have a sauna in the practice facility until players finally raged over it.

Take a look at drafts since Colbert. Looks very much the same. If only there was one constant between the two GMs

Oh that’s poison ivy? I thought poison ivy was purple splotched. Apparently I am absolutely immune to the stuff as I have been weed whacking that stuff for years

It’s because mechanical engineers are historically expected to do everything. Structural design? Eh mech can handle it with a code book. Electrical? Meh mechanical can do the i&c cabinet, it’s just din rail and terminals. Pipe keeps corroding in the process? Meh mech is good, he can figure it out. That’s historically been because mechanical engineers had to do all of that because those disciplines came about from mechs specializing in something adjacent to another discipline, and people realizing it was a new job category. And it wasn’t even all that long ago that the other disciplines came about. We are asked daily to do stuff we have no immediate idea how to do, and are expected to be an expert on it in 48hrs.

I would bet, that your printer was clogged, melted filament in the head, then it squeezed out between the Bowden tube and the nozzle. If you take apart the silicone sock and look under it, you will probably see a lot of baked on melted filaments

You missed the point. You said train less. Training less, is why Russia, despite being a super power since the 50s, wasn’t able to defeat a vastly inferior military. Imagine if Ukraine, had actually kept up their military, and their training. Russia most likely would never have invaded, and had they, it would have been a one sided fight pushing them back across the border. That’s why we train and maintain our military readiness, so that no one ever wants to invade, and if they did, it wouldn’t go the way they hoped.
PittEngineer
Then you end up with the russian Air Force, a super powers Air Force that struggled mightily against very few Ukrainian pilots on older airframes, because the UK, France, and the USA came in and trained them well before they were invaded. They were knocking out Russian aircraft at a rate that shouldn’t have been possible.

Is it a small company? If it is, there isn’t going to be a promotion path. I’m in that situation, if the job is what you want, and the tasks are enjoyable and you aren’t being stressed, well money isn’t everything. Now if you are stressed. And it’s not enjoyable, then move on. 3% annually means you take home less money than you did when you started due to price inflation of everyday needs.

Glue stick on the bed, the purple stuff from elementary school, or painters tape and lower the bed temp to 40-60 range for tpu. Your hot end is also a bit, well… hot. Start with temp towers and calibration prints and tune the system for your filament of choice, and stick to it for a few prints so you can tune it. Then write all those settings down for that brand, material, and color. I’ve had blue pla like a different temp than yellow from the same manufacturer and it was consistent over many months between material orders.

Where is the electrical box in that property? That could be a ground run under the slab to the exterior.
I beg your finest pardon, but what are you retaining in Florida? I was under the impression that Florida is the flattest state, where your tallest mountain is roughly 350ft tall. I kindly ask for an explanation.
