Honestly I think it's Toyota. I've got a 2026 Toyota and it's fine on wireless when I'm alone in the car, but if my wife's iPhone is in the car, it will switch back to hers because the iPhone makes itself 'sticky', unless she disconnects manually.

I've also noticed it will randomly disconnect when I'm plugged into the car, which seems to be the car doing something weird with the connection.

My own car, which has a Sony Android Auto head unit installed, works great every time and handles multiple devices perfectly fine 🤷‍♂️

Third vote for this. I love the new app and the coach is genuinely useful for me as a regular person just wanting to do better with my activity levels and do a bit of exercise to a loose plan. It's actually been fantastic with my PW4 being an excellent tracker.

This sounds very much like a network issue. If you haven't already, see if you can check your mobile network settings align with Optus' ones on its website, and turn on data roaming.

Otherwise, it sounds like an Optus configuration fail.

It's also region locked so only a few markets are getting it at all.

That's simply a reflection of it being a relatively quiet update and they're flagging the feature. It's coming with the update and they want to talk about it, you can simply ignore it.

Or, travel to a foreign market where it isn't available, I don't have any themes available despite having updated last week.
