If you can't answer people without being a dick you can make the world a better place by not answering. The OP asked a legitimate question. Yes, they can do their own research easily enough but its not even an old tired question that gets asked all the time.

The Wikipedia page makes it clear it wasn't just a conversion error. Columbus also misjudged how much of the globe was water, believing Europe and Africa to be larger than they are.
Which is why he only made it 1/3 of the way across the Atlantic and Pacific before his men were starving instead of 75% of the way.
Polymarchos
That doesn't make much sense, do you have a source for it?
If it was a simple unit conversion issue it would have been quickly pointed out.
Columbus only made it about 1/3 the way to India and his men were starving. Even if he thought the earth was 75% its real size he still didn't prepare for that long of a journey.
edit: Someone posted the Wikipedia link below. Note that the conversion was a small part of his error, he also believed Africa and Europe to be larger than they were, leaving much less ocean to cross.

Greenland may have been known, but hadn't been visited in a while (The Danes thought they still controlled it long after the last Norse colony died out) but the rest was legendary at best.
Logically it should have made sense that there was something out there, and if Columbus had argued on that basis he might have had something, but he didn't, and there was no known landmass south of Greenland.

May their victory over the ducks empower the Canucks as much as the Flames victory over the Ducks did.

don't prioritize it beyond doing the bare minimum. The dad was aggravating them by persistently trying to get them to do their jobs.
The father only wanted a police report, literally the bare minimum in order to create a paper trail when it went to court. They refused the bare minimum.

As a fat white man I take exception to this!
Part of the above statement is untrue.

and she received so much unnecessary hate and ridicule online over something that had absolutely nothing to do with her.
Maybe this is the bigger problem? Maybe people need to stop hating over such stupid things such as messy houses? Maybe the haters need to be called out on this, not Netflix.

While Italy had a revolution midway through WWII (when it was already half occupied by the allies), it never really had a choice for anything that came after. Calling it Allied because it had a friendly government in allied occupied territory is a bit of a stretch.
Especially when they were one of the major Axis powers, and a major cause for the war in the first place.

One of the reasons they have a copilot.

Nothing is ever perfect, but as far as the Western World is concerned, it was the peak of a golden age, there was also a certain ignorance about the rest of the world and a belief that things could only go up.
Today I feel there is an awareness of the rest of the world, the conditions people live in, and a hopelessness - a belief that things can only decline.

That's what phasing out the device is.

Tracking review copies has been around for decades. You don't need AI. Generally they just imbed a unique identifier in each copy. If it is found on pirate sites they know exactly who did it.

I'm just going by Wikipedia which says it is a transliteration of Дальний, meaning "Far Away".
The Chinese name was apparently Qingniwa. The link between the local language (as Manchu would have been more widespread at the time) and Russian may have helped the name stick.

The one in Sweden is larger. Pluto is 300km away from the sun.

6 meters is actually quite a bit of space for dinner plates.
Sure, it isn't Rome-New York big, but it's a decent space.

Dalin. Russia held it for 7 years (lost it in the Russo-Japanese War), but the name has stuck.

Based on the Russian one, it seems to be the largest city within a region.
The city of Dalin is of Russian origin, everything else within that region, including the name of the subprovince, appears Chinese.

I've read it in full, and can answer those questions, however I would also say that although indicative of a low level of contextualization common in Protestantism, those questions are largely academic and with the exception of your last question don't have much to do with what is actually in the Bible.

What a goalie answer.

My mother passed away the day before her wedding anniversary. No one told my step-father "happy anniversary!", we asked him how he was doing. Who is so out of touch with reality that they'd sing happy birthday at a funeral?

Romania has one of the largest.
Nice that they are on one service, but that is an insane cost for a streaming service. Even Sportsnet+ in Canada is cheaper.
